"Why is this taking so long" Allison whines to the weeping warrior
"Patience young child, just keep training while we wait for Nimue to return" The weeping warrior tells her as they clash swords against each other, adira was letting Allison use one of her swords though it was obvious to the warrior that the weapons the girl was meant for was the bow and arrows and the Chinese ring daggers
"Kaze, weeping warrior look" Morgana says in worry as she notices riders coming towards them slowly
"Its the Camelot knights, Uther must have known that Merlin was coming here and that Nimue was going to be here" The weeping warrior tells them in worry and then the knights come charging towards all of them at full speed on their horses "Get to the horses, now"
They all run to the horses and Adira quickly helps Allison up and then she unties her horse and jumps on the back of it and all of the females quickly began to ride between the ruins of the castle to find Nimue and warn her.
"Morgana, quickly go warn Nimue" Adira commands and Morgana nods her head and rushes of her horse and into the castle ruins to go and find Nimue and tell her to get out of there quickly
"this isn't good" Adira says to herself and the others as morgana goes out of sight "We'll have to go towards the caves and the roman battle grounds to get away, there is no other choice, i should have known that something was going to go wrong"
"we'll be fine. You'll find a way to get us out of this, i know you will" Allison tells the weeping warrior softly
Nimue and morgana rush out and quickly get onto the horses and they quickly ride away from the knights before they get captured. Adira felt nothing but worry, what if this gets worse and something happened to Allison. Adira could feel Allison shaking softly behind her and it made Adiras chest rumble and her heart began to pound aggressively in her chest. Nothing was going to happen to Allison and Adira was going to make complete and total sure of that.
"We need to split up, you three continue on, ill stay back and try and see what i can find out" The weeping warrior says and goes to hand Allison over to morgana
"Im coming with you" Allison says and holds onto Adira
"No child, you must stay with the others" the weeping warrior tell the young girl who has a stern look on her face
"Im coming with you" Allison says and it was obvious that the young girl wasn't going to change her mind no matter what was said or done or what the risk was
"I'll go instead, you stay with Nimue and Morgana" Kaze tells the weeping warrior who was now looking at her with an unreadable expression
"Are you sure?" The weeping warrior asks and Kaze just nods her head and begins to turn her horse around in the direction that they had just came from
"Im sure, you'll be able to protect them better than i, so you should stay with them" Kaze tells her
"Im sure all of us can protect ourselves" Adira says and looks around at all of the girls who each looked brave and independent, they looked strong and valient. They looked like warriors, and that was exactly what each of them are "But very well, we will carry on, try to catch back up to us as quick as possible"
Kaze nods her head and then rides off away from them
They continued to ride and ride along the bright green grass and while the kings nights could not be seen, they definitely wouldn't be far behind them.
The horses began to slow down as they get to a field that was covered in red. Armour lay scattered across the grounds, corpses of those once considered warriors and the warriors sword stabbed into the ground, marking their graves like a tomb stone. Flags sticking up from the ground like the souls claimed the land. It made Adira feel sick and her body felt heavy and cold as they begin to ride through the field. She could feel the left over dark magic ripping and clinging to her skin like radiation
"Kaze should have been back by now, what is this place?" Nimue asks and begins to look around
"its know as brothers blood, its quite morbid actually" the weeping warrior says and looks around in sorrow
"The roman battle ground cursed by Caileach" Morgana finishes off and Nimue stops riding her horse and the others stop to look at her in confusion
"Nimue?" Morgana asks softly in confusion
"We musnt stop, we must continue riding if we wish to get away from the kings knights" Adira tells the quickly but that doesn't make Nimue move and Adira lets out a long sigh of annoyance
"How was it cursed? What did she do?" Nimue asks and Adira looked at her in complete disbelief
"Youve really never heard of it," Adira asks her with raised eyebrows
"Didnt you tell ghost stories as a child?" Morgana asks Nimue with confusion written all over her face
"No, mine were real" Nimue says
"all stories have some sense of truth behind it Nimue. You just must remember that there are two sides to a story. Just because someone tells you there side doesn't mean its true, but they had to get the ideas from somewhere" The weeping warrior tells her "what i know is that she conjured up a fog that enveloped the Roman army. And in that fog, the soldiers went completely mad and slaughterd one another. Brothers blood. 20 thousand men fell here Nimue, i believe that that is one of the strongest reasons behind the red paladins, they know what a fey can do and they fear it, and it is true, some fey are evil, but not all fey. Being a fey doesn't make you evil and i don't believe that people are just born evil Nimue, i believed they are lead to it, treated like a monster for far too long so they just give in and become the monster that others put them out to be. Some are able to ignore it and overcome it, but some fall into the darkness"
