Chapter 7 Ellis' (and Ava!) POV {My Summary}

So. You guys were probably wondering how me and my sweetie wolf ended up in Ivywood High. Well, here's a recap!

***One day ago***

Ezran and I ride Ava up to a small tent in the middle of the woods. "Are you sure this is it, Ava?" I ask, and she gives a small bark in confirmation. We ride slowly forward.

"Is this really a good idea?" I ask Ez.

Ez nods. "Trust me. She's on our side." He assured me.

i don't feel assured. Soren and Claudia turned out to be traitors, last I saw them. Soren had just attacked Rayla and I, and Claudia had attacked the Illusion Callum and the Illusion Ez. You can't exactly blame me for not immediately welcoming the idea of asking Claudia for help.

Ez swung off Ava and walked over to the tent. "Claudia?" He calls. "Hello?"

Then all of a sudden I feel a cold blade at the back of my neck, digging into my skin. I gasp.

"Well, if it isn't Wolf-girl." A voice from behind me smirks. It's Soren.

"Ez?" I squeak. Ez spins around, surprised.

"Inside the tent, Ezran." Soren says. "Or your girlfriend gets it."

Ezran slowly backs into the tent. Soren throws me inside the tent as well, then Ava jumps in after me. Claudia's inside the tent, and she looks surprised. "Ez! Um... What's the name of your girlfriend again?" She asks.

"My name is Ellis, and this is my sweetie wolf, Ava!" I say.

Claudia nods. "Ez, you know what happened to Callum and Rayla?" She asks.

Ez's head droops. "Yeah." He says. "We heard. We were wondering if you could help us?" He asks hopefully.

Claudia shakes her head. "I don't how how." She says, causing Ez's head to fall. "But I do know someone who does!" She finishes.

"Really? Who?" I say excitedly.

Claudia lifts a finger to her nose and taps it. "You." She says, pointing to both of us.

"Me?!?!" Ez and I say at the same time. "But I don't know how!"

"Yes you do!" Claudia says. "Look, what my father did was change their memories to show that they've lived in the Otherworld their whole lives. To reverse that and come home, all you have to do is get them to believe in Xadia and want to come back."

"So... What you're saying is that if we can convince Callum and Rayla that Xadia is real and they want to come back, the spell breaks?" I ask.

"Mmmmhmmm." Claudia says. "But there's a catch. If you can't convince them, or if they don't want to... Well, you're trapped in the Otherworld. Forever."

Me and Ez exchange a nervous look, but we both nod. "We'll do it." Ez says determinedly.

Claudia nods. "In that case, good luck." She says, grabbing a box of red powder. "Htrae ot og owt eseht tel!" She chants , then there's a swirling motion and we're gone.

When we appear in the Otherworld, the first thing I noticed is Ava. She's a smaller husky now. Then I notice myself, and I grin. Claudia really planned this. To get to Rayla and Callum, we'd need to get into Ivywood High. Now, Ez and I are both teenagers.

We stare at each other. "You look good." Ez says finally in a deeper voice.

"Thanks. Same to you." I reply. I have the same clothes on, but he wears long sleeves instead.

"You take Rayla I take Callum?" He asks.

I nod, and we walk into school together.
