My face is on fire.

Not only am I Juliet, but Callum is Romeo. Wait a sec- in Romeo and Juliet, didn't the aforementioned Romeo and Juliet... Kiss? Oh, jeez.

"Romeo, Romeo, my heart... Breaks... For thee, thy..." I glance down at my notes in frustration. "Romeo, Romeo, my heart breaks for thee, thy... O... Thou handsome Montague-y."

Snickers from the audience. Sigh from the teacher.

"Oh, fair Juliet, thy sweet face shines like the sun." Callum replies. "Quick! Footsteps I do hear approaching. Good night, fair Juliet. Till we meet again, I shall be in darkness."

At this point, I'm supposed to walk off stage gracefully. How's anyone supposed to even move in this dress, I have no idea. It's stupid and frilly and girly and I hate it. You probably guessed that by now.

I hike up the dress to my knees and stalk off. I can practically hear the teacher facepalming, and I grin. She only said put on the dress. She didn't say I had to do anything else.

As soon as Callum joins me backstage, tension levels shoot up by 500%. "Why do you keep screwing things up?!" He yells.

"Well, maybe I never wanted to be your Juliet! Maybe I just wanted to be Rayla! You should have thought about that before you started drawing!" I snap back.

I'm pretty sure nobody else knows about the sketchbook incident, but their gazes snap back to Callum expectantly. His mouth drops open. "Well, maybe I just wanted to study the evolution of a jerky freak over the years!"

Aaaaaannnnndddd we're back to me again. "Really? Looked in the mirror lately?" I taunt.

Callum's fists clench. "I don't know, I thought he was your best friend!"

I roll my eyes. "So? He's still a better friend than you!"

"Ooooh." A girl whispered. I've seen her around, I think her name's Maka?

Ellis and Ezran push through the crowd. "Guys, stop!" Ezran protests. "This is wrong!"

I clench my fists, and the world goes black, because the inexperienced girl writing this wants to build suspense. Oops. I broke the fourth wall.
