RIVER leaned back on Caroline's couch.

"This is a disaster" He sighed.

"Look, we don't know anything for sure" Stefan argued.

"Yes we do!" Caroline retorted "Elena is sired to Damon! Which means her one singular burning desire is to make him happy, just like Klaus and his hybrids!"

"No it's not" Stefan denied "A vampire sired to another vampire is one in a million, maybe it won't affect her the same way"

"We already know it's affecting her" River said "She's become Damon's lapdog"

Stefan glared at him.

"It's true! Everything he says, she agrees with" River continued "Everything he asks her to do...she does"

"We need to do something" Caroline pulled her phone from her pocket.

"Wait, no, hold on Caroline" Stefan paused her "This isn't gossip, you can't just drop this on her before we know what's happening for sure"

"I need to talk to Tyler, okay?" Caroline said "Maybe he'll know what to do"

"All right talk to Tyler but please don't tell anyone else" Stefan pleaded "If this is true, then it may have influence on Elena's every action and emotion since she became a vampire"

River rubbed his hand over his face.

River stood by his locker, Caroline and Bonnie by his side, smiles on all of their faces as Elena approached.

"Elena, hey" Bonnie greeted "Is everything okay?"

"Yeah" Elena said "Why wouldn't it be?"

"Well, Caroline told me you had to move out to stay away from Jeremy" Bonnie answered.

"Matt is at the house staying with him right now to make sure he keeps all of his hunter stuff in control" Elena replied "He's OK"

"But are you?" Caroline asked.

"Clearly, they don't have a flat iron at hotel Salvatore" River teased.

"Oh...I was in a rush, I mean...look, do you guys have any plans tonight?" Elena asked "I'm in desperate need of some girl talk"

She pulled her hair from it's bun.

"I'm in" Bonnie agreed "Shane taught me some small spells I've been wanting to try"

"Oh, creepy professor guy is just Shane now" Caroline teased.

"He's not creepy" Bonnie defended.

"We're not judging" Elena smiled.

"I am" River smirked.

"Don't listen to them" Elena laughed "So, girls' night? We can raid the Salvatore wine cellar"

"Are you sure that Stefan and Damon are cool with us crashing at their place?" Caroline seemed uncomfortable.
