RIVER moved into the Grill, spotting Rebekah at the bar, also spotting Klaus moving towards him.

"River" Klaus greeted.

"What do you want?" River asked "I thought you were done with me and Rebekah"

"I didn't want this" Klaus pleaded, lowering his voice "I miss you"

River inhaled, leaning towards Klaus' ear.

"I don't care" River hissed.

The vampire moved towards Rebekah, turning to watch as Klaus exited the bar angrily.

"You should go back to him" Rebekah advised.

"And why is that, Beks?" River sighed.

"You miss him, you crave him" Rebekah stated.

"Is that so?" River scoffed.

"You're hurting River, and I understand why you're staying with me, helping me" Rebekah began "But it's killing you, staying away from him, you need him"

"I'm sure" River snorted.

Rebekah sighed, leaving the topic, for now.

River smiled as he sat at across from April, Rebekah sitting beside him as they smiled at the girl, ignoring Matt beside her.

"Sorry, family drama" Rebekah excused them being late.

"You three are friends?" Matt questioned.

"Is it so hard to believe we would have one?" River questioned "You were one, once"

"Yeah, it is" Matt scoffed, turning to Rebekah "And I'm keeping the truck"

Matt walked away, both April and Rebekah watching after him, April watching longer.

"Hey, off limits! I have dibs" Rebekah teased.

Stefan suddenly sat beside April, compelling the girl.

"You won't remember any of this" Stefan compelled before turning to River and Rebekah "Klaus wants me to fake peace with you, so you'll talk about the Five"

"Yeah, I bet, but don't help him, he'll just betray you, it's what he does" River spoke with a sarcastic grin "And what is the Five?"

"Hunters" Rebekah stated, turning to Stefan.

"Alright, well, forget him" Stefan tried "Help me instead"

"Why?" Rebekah questioned "You hate us more than he does"

"Because I want to figure out what he's up to and plus I can give you the one thing he won't" Stefan informed.

"And what's that?" River smirked.

"A clean slate" River's smirk fell "I'm not saying that I'm willing to forgive you for what you did to Elena, but I'm willing to set it aside and start over, both of you"
