"It was from the girl he first admired?" I asked at the back of my mind.
Hanggang ngayon ay hindi mapanatag ang loob ko about that bracelet. I am sure na nakita ko na somewhere ang bracelet na 'yon but I can't recall kung saan ko 'yon nakita.
Because of that, I'm starting to get curious about Dylan's personality. I shouldn't have thought about this, but, is he part of my past?
"What the hell, Magi? Ano'ng klaseng tanong 'yon? Of course not!" I shrieked as if I'm battling against my thoughts. Alright, I think I'm starting to go crazy because of these thoughts I have.
I go outside of my room to visit my lola, siguro naman ay hindi pa siya tulog. I just want to check her condition para naman hindi na 'ko ma-bother nang sobra.
As I arrived in her room, naabutan kong gising pa nga si lola habang mayroon siyang hawak na libro --- a smile suddenly appeared on my face while I'm giving her a gaze. After all the dreadful things that happened, she is still my grandmother who I used to be with. Her hobby of reading books will always be her recreation.
"Lola, why are you still up?" I asked while walking towards her.
"Na-miss ko kasi bigla ang apo ko," malungkot nitong sambit and when she turn her gaze onto me, sorrow reflects on her eyes. "Hindi ako makatulog kaya nagbasa na lang muna ko ng libro."
Hinahanap niya ang apo niya without knowing I am just here, always by her side.
'Kahit kailan hindi kita iniwan, lola. All I want is for you to recognize me... but things are like I'm waiting for the moon to shine like the sun.'
It's impossible to compare two things that are completely different from each other.
I held her hand and managed to smile. "Don't be sad, lola. One of these days, bibisitahin niya kayo rito."
"Hindi ako okay na bibisitahin niya lang ako. Ang gusto ko ay ang makasama siya rito sa bahay para araw-araw ko siyang kasama. Bakit ba kasi kailangan niya pang manatili sa condo kung may bahay naman siyang uuwian, hindi ba?"
I frozed by what she said. Kahit ano'ng gawin niyang intindi sa mga bagay, still, she wouldn't understand everything.
Ayoko na lang magsalita 'cause I'm afraid I will shock her from the truth na alam kong mahihirapan siyang tanggapin. Instead of answering her question, I kept my mouth shut. Words are so powerful that they may harm other people's sentiments.
"Bukas ko na lang itutuloy ang pagbabasa nito dahil inaantok na ko. Matulog ka na rin, hija," she said as she placed the book on her side table.
"Ang hiling ko lang ay sana maabutan ko pa 'yong araw na maikakasal kayo ng apo ko. Mabuti kang tao at alam kong magiging masaya ang bubuuin niyong pamilya ni Dylan." After saying those words, she closed her eyes.
Before closing the door, sinilip ko muna siyang muli and whispered, "Maghihintay rin po akong dumating 'yong araw na maaalala niyo na kung sino ako."

"Edi sige, ibibigay ko na lang itong bracelet ko sa iyo para may palatandaan ako na ikaw 'yan. Basta kapag malaki na tayo, hanapin natin ang isa't isa," sambit ng batang babae habang isinusuot ang isang bracelet sa kamay ng batang lalaki.
"Hahanapin talaga kita kahit ano'ng mangyari. Kapag nasa tamang edad na tayo, ipinapangako ko sa iyo na pakakasalan kita!"
