Part One- Ann and Daniel

Anna's POV

Slap

"Watch where you're going, freak!" Alessandra screamed in my face. Whoa, what a surprise. She didn't pull my ear off today.

Her minions, Kate and Leah, snickered.

Suddenly, the bell rang, and everyone scattered to their classes.

I got up, just to be pushed down again.

And when I got up again, Ash, the star player on the football team slammed my head on the lockers. Ouch.

Wonder why they bully me? Oh, because I'm a "freak."

You see, when I was 16, I didn't shift. I'm 17 now. But wait! That's not all. I also have fire powers.

You would think I could defend myself with this power, but, think again.

I am weak,

I am worthless,

A sorry excuse for a werewolf,

And I am a freak.

Being beat up 24/7 doesn't help either. My mate will probably reject me anyways. He probably wants me to die like everyone else.

Well, if I had a mate.

Daniel's POV

Bam!

An icicle impaled the feral wolf that tried killing me. Ouch. That must've hurt.

"Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, mister rogue king!" My best friend Ray said, grinning. "Heh, stupid. I can't believe anyone would think of trying to kill you, all high and mighty."

I grinned back at him. Yeah, I'm the rogue king. I have ice powers, and I could shift into both a wolf and a tiger. But every king needs a queen. And I don't have one. I'm still waiting for my mate.

"So? Which pack are we heading to next? Bloodlust? Midnight? Shadow? Too bad I didn't find my mate yet. But who knows? Maybe I'll find mine in the same pack as yours?" Ray rambled.

We attack packs to see if our mates are there.

You might wonder, why attack?

Well, let me give you slow readers a visual.

Imagine yourself, being kicked out of your pack at age 12 because you "killed the Alpha and Luna, aka your parents." You were out there, all alone, trying to survive as a rogue. Packs naturally don't trust rogues. They just throw you in a cell, not wanting or caring for an explanation.

Tell me again why we shouldn't attack?

"Um, maybe Shadow pack, then Midnight, and then Evergreen," I answered, looking at the documents.

"Okay! Onward!!!" Ray exclaimed, being too excited.

Anna's POV

"Hey slave! Come clean the pack house!" Thomas, the Alpha's son yelled. Although he was an asshole, his parents, Alpha Jack and Luna Meryl, are much nicer. Too bad they don't see what is going on under their noses.

I quickly ran to the pack house. I run super fast, even wolves can't catch up to me.

Argh, I don't wanna clean a huge house with a bunch of wet dogs living in it!
