Anna's POV

We walked out of the hospital. It seemed like we were magnets, one person started staring, and others immediately turned our way, staring at us, whispering. They all felt the dominance pouring out from Daniel, and they saw Riley's blank face.

Thomas walked up. "Ugh! Filthy rogues! Guards, throw them in the cell!"

I saw a few guards move forward while some looked hesitant.

Daniel didn't even blink as guards walked toward our way, ready to attack.

Jay, an arrogant guard, quickly reached for Daniel's arms.

Another guard I recognized as the one who threw me in the cell a few days before also reached for Ray. Riley took care of that guard, jabbing him with her elbow.

Jay roughly shoved Daniel, only to have an icicle go through his arm.

I turned to Daniel, and I saw his face emotionless, bored.

A few more guards charged at us, only to get impaled by icicles.

Suddenly, I saw a guard with a smirk on his face grab me roughly. I yelp at the sudden impact.

I saw Daniel in the corner of my eye. He was growling warningly at the guard touching me.

Stupid guard, he didn't budge. He only held me harder.

I heard Daniel growl viciously, and I knew his wolf took over. I heard the guard drop to the floor and a few splatters of blood landed on me.

I peered at him, only to wish that I didn't.

The guard was impaled by three icicles. One through the left leg, one through the right arm, and one through the heart. He was clearly dead.

The other guards froze, and everyone was still and silent. I saw Alpha Jack and Luna Meryl run towards us.

"What happened?" Luna Meryl asked.

Riley spoke up. I was always amazed at how calm she always was. "Ray, my mate, and I were walking with Anna and her mate, Daniel the Rogue King. Thomas ordered the guards to attack, and when this guard," pointing at the dead guard, "grabbed Anna, Daniel naturally growled in warning. The guard still didn't let go, so Daniel's wolf took over and killed him," Riley explained.

Alpha Jack nodded. "And Daniel, you have something like Anna's power?"

"Yes, I could do anything with ice. I am still not sure what Anna could do though."

Luna Meryl then spoke up. "So are you going to settle in this pack? Or, are you going rogue?"

Daniel answered before I could say something. "Ann will be coming with me."

"I will be following," Riley said.

Luna Meryl nodded, smiling kindly at me. "I understand. Take care of Anna!" She said, looking at Daniel.

Alpha Jack also smiled at us. "Be careful."

Daniel held my hand and we walked towards the woods. Riley and Ray followed.

I saw Leah and Kate glaring at me, Ash, I guess he was allowed out, frowning, and my other bullies sneering.

When we were at the edge of the border, I saw Page, scrunching her nose up in disgust as she looked at us.

"Look at that, the freak is mates with another freak. What a nice couple! You guys could be freaks together! At least you're out of my life. Now I don't have to see your bitchy little face everyday," she snorted.

Daniel growled, and an icicle shot up to her mouth. I noticed Daniel had a lot of control, for the icicle only cut Page's lip. "Be careful about what you say," he snarled.

Page stomped her feet like a baby. "Ugh, whatever," and she glared at me and stormed away.

I turned back and started walking again. Daniel stopped me and lifted my chin up. "Was she your other bully?" he asked softly.

I barked a laugh. "Everyone here is my tormentor, except the Alpha and Luna. And yes, she is my bully too. And my sister."

"Barely a sister!" Sunset growled.

Daniel sighed. "What about your parents?"

I snarled. "My parents? Well, my "parents" left me in the hands of my "sister" so they could take a vacation."

Daniel hugged me. "I'm sorry."

"Why are you apologizing? It's not you're fault."

"I wasn't there for you when you needed me."

I sighed. "It's fine. Enough about that. What about you? How'd you become a rogue? How did you become Rogue King?" I asked.

"Well, when I was about 12 years old, I was kicked out of my pack. They thought I had killed my Luna, but I didn't. They thought this because I was last seen with her. I was with her because she was teaching me about my powers and my wolf and my tiger. Yes, I have a tiger, but he rarely shows up. When I was kicked out, it was very hard for me to survive as a rogue. Packs hated rogues, and I was only 12. But then I came across Ray. He was the same age as me, and we set off together. We killed and hunted to survive, and we met a lot of rogues. Some rogues were pure evil, but a lot of rogues were like me, kicked out for something they didn't actually do. I made a lot of friends, and I was a natural leader. I gathered rogues, and I made a small town for rogues. The rogues got to know me and most of them wanted me as king. Adding to that, I could protect them from packs. You would think that rogues couldn't be tamed, that they are wild and feral. But the truth is that most rogues wanted to live in peace, and some didn't want to follow rules. We might be vicious, but we do whatever we can to survive."

I blinked a few times. "Wow," I breathed out. "So you're the king?"

"And you're my queen," he said, brushing my cheek.

He suddenly stopped, and stepped in front of me. I was surprised at the sudden move, and I stumbled in Daniel's arms. He pushed onto a tree, my back sticking on the tree bark.

"We didn't get to finish what we started in the hospital," he said.

I blushed, remembering that moment.

Daniel slammed his lips on mine, and I'll never forget the feeling of his soft lips.

Our lips moved in sync, and Daniel's tongue pushed into my mouth.

"Oooooooooooooooooo! Steamy!" Riley said, smirking.

"When you're done, let's move. We're not far. You guys could continue in a room," Ray winked at us.

I blushed and pushed Daniel off and started walking again.

I saw Daniel glare at Ray and Riley smirking at me.

I blushed again, thinking about that kiss.

Daniel caught my blush and he grinned. Riley apparently also noticed, and I saw her eyes twinkling mischievously.

"Anna and Daniel, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!!!!!!" She started.

I groaned. "Stop acting so childish!" I attempted to push her face away.

Yeah, that didn't work.

"First comes marking. Then comes mating. Then comes the baby in a baby carriage!" Riley sang, teasingly.

I blushed harder, swatting at Riley.

She only grinned and sang louder.
