Sorry it's so short. And Happy Early Mother's Day!
***

Silvia's POV

I awkwardly stood near the training grounds as I waited for Lucien. This whole day, I attracted stares of pack members. I was like the center of gossip today. It's no surprise, I did just finish the mating process with their Alpha, which made me their Luna?

"Omgggggg! You mated with my brother!!! And he also marked you!" She squealed.

I blushed. "I also marked him."

She gasped. "Lucien let you do that? You guys are sooooo cute together!! Omg, I can't wait to meet my mate! I want to feel the sparks and the sensations and everything wonderful that goes with the mate bond! You are sooooo lucky!!" She suffocated me with a huge hug. "Now you are my sister! Kind of... Omgggggg, are you guys going to get married?" She squealed again.

She says "omg" a lot.

I shook my head. "I don't know if Lucien wants that."

She tilted her head. "But do you want that?"

I shrugged, looking away. "Not really. I don't like those human traditions..." I trailed off. But what if Lucien wants that? I can't be selfish.

She patted my back. "It's fine if you don't like it. My brother would understand, you guys are fully mated already! I'm sure you guys will figure something out. Now I will leave you so you could ogle my brother in peace."

"Wait, I'm not-" I protested, but I could hear Penny's giggles bouncing off the wall as she left. Was I just really that obvious?

I turned back to Lucien sparring with Max, his Beta. Goddess, my mate is so gorgeous though...

"Stop eye-fucking me, little Fae." I heard Lucien's voice in my head.

I blushed and looked away. But I couldn't help but look back and drool. My wolf purred too. She never purrs.

I blame the mate bond.

Crystal's POV

"This is not good, not good, not good!" I mumbled, throwing the book down and I start to pace.

"Pacing and mumbling doesn't help you or Silvia," Peri stated from the door. I scowled at her, but I knew she was 100% correct.

She's always correct, I'm never correct.

I scratched my hair frustratingly. "It's just that, I know Silvia is going to be in trouble soon, and she's going to need some help!"

"Then why won't you help her? And it's not that you can't do that, it's just that you don't want to," she crossed her arms. She was right, again, as always.

"No," I shook my head vigorously. "No, no, no. I need to find someone else to help her."

"The only person is you. But if you really decide not to, you could just leave her there with her mate. Her mate could calm her down, control her, and help her." Her eyes were trained on me. They seemed to be communicating with me, as if telling me, 'Her mate could do something you can't do.'

She was right. Her mate could do something I couldn't do, I couldn't dream of doing.

I looked away from her piercing gaze. Why did I choose this again?

I mentally scolded myself. You know why Crystal. There's also no going back.

No going back...

I'm sorry it's so shot and boring, and the updates are so slow. These days I can't get a handle on my life, and I just want to slam the brakes down on my life, but that's impossible. I'm pretty much getting cyber bullied and attacked, and I'm not in a great headspace right now. All day I just mope around and write depressing poems and stories that are scattered all over the place, and I can't think of anything positive for my in-progress stories. Sorry guys, bear with me. Have a wonderful day!
