Silvia's POV

I slowly turned around. It couldn't be...

"Lucien?" I whispered.

"You are in so much trouble my little Fae," he said in my ear, making me shiver.

"Oops, forgot to tell you your mate, was here. Just like you and Crystal forgot to tell me that you were running from your mate who searched high and low for you," I heard Peri holler.

That backstabbing- URGH!

"We'll be leaving Perizada. Thank you for keeping my mate safe," my mate hoisted me up and threw me over his back with an iron grip.

"Bye Peri!" I managed to holler before we stepped through the tree.

"Drink this," he gave me a weird looking potion like thingy that smelt like strawberries.

"What is it?" I looked at it suspiciously.

"A potion that helps us get to our pack faster. Drink it." He gulped down the potion and I hesitantly did the same.

In a second, we were standing in Lucien's room.

I looked at Lucien nervously. What's he going to do?

"You know, little Fae, you are very cunning. Oh wait, you aren't just a Fae, you are also a tribrid." Seeing my expression, he chuckled. "I saw the book you were reading. But answer this question. The partner you were with...who was she?"

I gulped. "Um, well, you see... I don't really know. When I met Crystal on that train and we shook hands, she knew I was a tribrid. When she talked to me, she put a barrier so no one else could hear us. Then she lead me to the Fae council and left."

"Did you know she also erased the minds of the people you were in contact with? And how could you just trust some stranger and walk off with a complete stranger? I was looking for you everywhere. You just ran off without a reason!" He growled.

I glared at him. "Well, you had Helen, so you were probably fine!"

He scoffed. "Helen's dead. I killed her. When she kissed me, I froze for a second. I did not kiss her back. When I finally reacted, you were there."

I still glared at him. The atmosphere was full of tension.

"Do you know how fucking worried I was?" He moved closer. "I thought something had happened to you, but I didn't give up looking." I saw his gaze move to my lips. Oh god.

"You just left. You could've gotten hurt." He looked me in the eyes. "Now, what shall I do with you?" He mused.
