Part 3- Broken Hearted Territory

Gem's POV

I flashed next to my best friend, Faith.

Yeah, I am half witch, half werewolf! ␈

My wolf is unique. When I shift, my wolf's color shines in the sun, like a rainbow. Her name is Iris.

My witch powers are mostly elemental, I could erase minds, and I could teleport!

That's why me and Faith survived as a rogue for so long.

Also, me and Faith are famous. Kind of.

You see, we sneak around in packs and steal resources. Since we usually steal in wolf form, they gave us nicknames.

Me as Rainbow because of my unique fur, and Faith as Storm because of her fur, grey with some navy blue streaks. Her wolf is cool, her blue streaks look like lightning!!!

We are paired by the Moon Goddess, and people call us Weather Havoc.

"Hey Gem, wanna create chaos in Blood Lust Pack?" Faith smirked.

I grinned. "Hah, ok! But what's your purpose?"

"Well, they are always so brutal with rogues, and I am sure they won't catch us!"

"Sure, my partner in crime. Let's go kick some ass!"

~time skip~

"This was fun!" Faith said, panting.

We were running towards the border after injuring many, in our human form now. Take that Blood Lust Pack!

I suddenly paused. I smelt something heavenly.

"Wait! Faith! I think I smell my mate!"

Her eyes widened. "Are you sure? This means we will get caught!"

I reached towards the trees. "Can you tell me who my mate is?"

Alpha Tyler, coming your way~

I gasped. "It's the Alpha!" I told Faith, a second before getting surrounded by wolves.

My mate sniffed the air and his cold, calculating eyes landed on me. "Mate," he snarled.

He motioned the guards to move away from us, and dragged me. He told Faith to follow.

He lead us to a huge house, I'm assuming the pack house, and showed Faith to her room and to mine.

I was kind of disappointed he barely acknowledged me. He didn't lead me to his room, but to an empty, lonely, room.

He left, grumbling. I knocked on Faith's room, which was next to me.

She hopped next to me. "What'd he say?" She chirped.

I cast my eyes down. "Nothing."

She widened her eyes. "Awwwwwww, sorry. I'm sure everything will get better."

But it didn't.

In less than a minute, exploding pain formed around my stomach.

"FAITH!" I cried out, curling myself up into a ball. "Help.... me... Make it stop!!!" I croaked.

I felt fire, like an explosion.

She widened her eyes, and I saw anger arise. "OH NO HE ISN'T" She said, storming out.

Tyler's POV

Gracie scampered up immediately once the filthy rogue stormed in my room.

I glared at her. "Rogue, what do you want!"

"I have a name! Faith! Your mate, Gem, is hurting because you're with some slut!" She snapped.

I growled. "Don't disrespect me or the Luna!"

She snorted. "Oh so she's the Luna? I thought your mate was the Luna!"

My wolf Hunter also growled. "You stupid human! Our mate is hurting because of you!"

"I will not accept her! She is a rogue, she is weak! Gracie is a much better Luna than that pathetic she-wolf! And she is a rogue!" I shot back.

"You will pay for that," Hunter growled, cutting off our connection.

"Leave," I commanded her.

She snarled. "Why don't you just let us go if you don't need us?"

I scoffed. "I won't be letting you go. It is either this or torture and death."

"Fine, but don't worry, I will tell Gem how horrible you are, and she will hate you!" She said, storming out.

I felt a small pang in my chest, but I shook it off.

I don't care about her.

Gem's POV

The pain finally subsided. Faith told me about my mate, and I felt a heavy pang in my chest.

He will never love me.

But Faith cheered me up, saying that I could stay with her for the night, and we don't need mates.

I tried convincing myself that too.

I walked downstairs, and ran into a brunette.

"Hi! I'm Gracie," she smiled softly.

Faith finally caught up with me. "YOU!" She hissed.

I glanced at both of them, confused. "You guys know each other?"

Faith growled. "SHE's the stupid female who caused you the pain!"

Gracie looked shocked and disappointed. "I'm sorry," she mumbled.

"Well sorry doesn't help!" Faith butted in, still super angry.

Gracie seemed a bit ashamed. "I'm sorry, I didn't know Tyler found his mate, and if he did, I wouldn't have gotten in the way!"

I sighed. "Whatever, it's not your fault. Nice meeting you."

I walked off, Faith trailing behind.

"Where we going?" Faith chirped.

"Outside, to breathe fresh air," I said shortly.

Once I got outside, I touched the trees. "Any news?" I whispered, almost inaudibly.
