Gem's POV

"Please tell me what you mean," I whispered.

No, secret~

"I need your help, please! I'm already stressing about my mate! You have to tell me!" I whispered desperately.

Stupid mate, can't tell, secret, very important, Samantha and Moonlight is the hint~

I sighed. "What do you mean by dragon?"

Not telling, be careful, get rid of mate~

This was clearly going no where.

I turned towards Faith and sighed.

"They said weird things," I said, shaking my head.

"What! What!" Faith said curiously.

"Something about trouble, dragon, some new friend, leafspeak, some secret and my mate."

"Oooooooo! What'd they say about your mate?"

"Just to get rid of him and that he's stupid," I said, rubbing my temples.

She shrugged. "They're not wrong. What else did they say? Anything specific?"

I shook my head. "Nope, they said it was very important and they can't tell."

"Great. There is trouble coming and we can't-" she was cut off.

By the stupid mate. Tyler.

"What are you filthy rogues doing out here? Are you asking to be attacked? Get back in here!" He barked.

I saw Faith roll her eyes and we walked back inside.

Questions swarmed inside my head.

What did the trees mean?

Tyler's POV

I called the rogues up into my office.

"So, since we are nicely letting you live, you have to stay in this pack. I will tell my pack that you guys are not a threat. But, there are some rules. One, do not attack any pack members. Two, do not disrespect me or the Luna. Three, stay in the pack house unless you have my or the Luna's permission. Four, do not barge into my room or my office. Five, do not try to escape or cross the border," I said.

I could see the displeasure in their eyes.

I narrowed my eyes. "Any questions?"

"No," they said, proceeding to walk out.

"Be respectful or you will pay the consequences," I threatened, stopping them.

"Yes Alpha," they said, and I heard a hint of sarcasm in their voices.

I nodded, still annoyed.

Once they left, Gracie came in, fidgeting.

"Anything wrong?" I asked.

"As a matter of fact, yes! Why didn't you tell me you found your mate!? We agreed that if any of us found our mates, we could break off this relationship! Why didn't you tell me?" She said, her eyes accusing.

I sighed. "She is not my mate. She is just a filthy, lying rogue, and I will never love her or accept her. It'd be better for her to just die, but my wolf will be depressed," I said, shrugging, barely caring.

Gracie's mouth was wide open, shocked. "How dare you!!!!! Your mate is everything!!! Half of your soul! Now I don't even think you have one! I don't think we could be in a relationship anymore," she said, her eyes full of anger and sadness.

"But you still love me, and I still love you!" I said, protesting. No, this can't be happening! She's the perfect Luna and I love her!

"I don't. Even though she's an ideal Luna, she is not our mate. She is right. Our mate is everything. GO TO HER!" My wolf growled.

I shut him out, ignoring him.

I saw Gracie's mouth form into a small line. "My emotions clouded my judgement," she said shortly. "I will be leaving Alpha," she said, and stormed out the door.

I growled. Great! That bitch ruined my chances with Gracie!!!

I punched the wall in anger, creating a small dent in the wall.

She will fucking pay.

They.

Will.

Both.

Pay.

They ruined my life, and they were not going to get away with it.

No.

Matter.

Who.

They.

Are.
