⚜VII. Intruder⚜

I don't know what's gotten into my parents mind for just favoring one child and disregard the other one. I tried to reach out every time to Ambrogio so he won't feel alone. I adjusted my interest to him so we can get along. We're the best buds.

He isn't that bad. My brother isn't that bad even though he's trying to follow our father's steps, I know he just want our father to notice him.

But father wants me to follow his steps that I don't have interest with. I don't like cruel act. I don't like any of those. I want to be the righteous one of this family to balance everything that this household lacks of.

Now that we have a sister, the cold house became warm. The light wipe out the darkness inside the house.

My sister Veronika is of age. She's in her twenty. Within those years, I've witness how she grow up as a fine young woman, and as a brother, I am proud of her.

"Cecilion, I have meet someone", biglang sabi ni Veronika sa akin.

We're currently here inside the library. Sinadya niya talagang pumunta dito para sabihin sa akin iyon. I close the book I am reading and face her.

"Who?", kumunot ang aking noo. "Since when did our parents allowed you to go out?".

Ngumiti siya. "I am allowed to go out. Mother and father didn't forbid me", Tinaasan niya ako ng kilay.

"Okay. Tell me who this man is!", binalik ko ang tingin sa librong binabasa. I put it on the table. Nakadikwatro akong nakaupo habang nakatingin sa kanya.

"So....", she trailed off as she close the distance between us. Naupo siya sa tabi ko. "He's handsome and caring. And he is very mascular", hinugis niya ang katawan nito sa kanya. She shows me muscles.

"I kind of.....", hindi matigil sa kakaikot ang mga mata niya. It seems like she's uncomfortable for saying it but I didn't stop her. She's determine to tell me. "....love him, Cecilion", sabi niya ng nagkatitigan na kami.

I smirk. Who is this guy? He better prepare himself to meet me for trial. He'll get through Ambrogio first and then me, and then Nathaniel before we can say he deserves our princess.

"Love him? What kind of love?", I raised an eyebrows to her.

She scoff. "Like love, Cecilion. Like mother's and father's kind of love", she widened her eyes on me and gestures her hands to express herself.

"So when is he meeting us for trials?", I asked seriously.

Mas lalong nanlaki ang mga mata niya sa sinabi ko. "W-What trial? What's that for!?".

"Did he says he's in love with you too?", tanong ko rin sa kanya.

"He said he loves me. I've meet his families and I invite them for our father's golden year", ngumiti siya sa akin.

"He needs to get through us before we can decide he deserves you", seryosong sabi ko sa kanya.

"Brother!", mabilis siyang umalma sa sinabi ko.

"No! We'll decide", sabi ko.

She scoff again and shook her head firmly. "You can't do that! He deserves me because he loves me and I love him, Cecilion. And that's it. Love!", she followed me outside the library.

"You love too easily. You haven't seen half of the world", sabi ko sa kanya.

"I don't need to see half of the world. I saw him, I love him, brother. Believe me", hinabol niya ako para mapahinto sa paglalakad.
