⚜ XXXVI. Vengeance ⚜

For weeks of living here with the sorcerers ay marami akong natutunan. Event though, they aren't powerful as the witches but they also have their own uniqueness. And that's the kindness they show to me.

And, speaking of kindness, the only sorcerer that doesn't show me kindness is Marguerette.

I don't know what I did. It saddened me that she doesn't show me kindness. Is she mad at me?

"Nathaniel, I see you're so good at doing elements. Can you teach me how?", Melissa come to me and ask me to teach her.

I trained with them for controlling elements, water, earth, fire, air, and mind. They also have other abilities that I can't do. But on controlling elements, I'm good at it.

"I thought you're good at it?", I ask.

I can sense something here. I've been with girls before. Clearly, she's flirting with me.

"No, I am not good at it. Please? Teach me?", she smile politely to me and blink twice.

"Melissa, he's not a sorcerer. Why ask help from him!?", pagalit na tanong ni Marguerette sa kaibigan.

She's being rude to everyone who tried to talk to me.

"Marguerette, he can do it too", sabi ni Melissa at bumaling ulit sa akin. "Teach me, please".

Kaagad akong umiling ng matanaw ang matalim na titig ni Marguerette sa akin at sa kay Melissa.

"Marguerette is right. You should train with the sorcerer and not with the vampire", sabi ko.

Ngumuso si Melissa at mabilis na lumapit sa kay Marguerette. They train how to control the fire.

Ilang minuto lang ay may apoy na lumipad palapit sa akin. Mabuti at nakita ko iyon kaya mabilis kong napatay gamit ang tubig.

"Why did you do that!?", I asked Marguerette.

"You're disturbing Melissa. Because of you, she can't focus", halata ang galit sa kanyang boses.

"Oh! Really? Is it Melissa who can't focus or you?", I raise and eyebrows to her.

Mas lalong umusbong ang galit niya sa akin. She punch my upper left chest. Napahawak ako doon.

"No. You're disturbing with her because you know she likes you. Do you like her, too?", she ask as her eyes narrowed.

I draw my face closer to her. Bumaba ang tingin ko sa kanyang labi. Her eyes drifted to my lips too.

"I don't. I like someone else. A sorceress!", I whispers on her ears.

"Which one?", her voice almost broke.

"This one!", I caress her check. I don't mind if someone will see us. The training is done anyway.

"B-But I don't like y-you", she whispers back. Her voice trembles.

"You do? And why your voice trembling so bad?", I said and act like it didn't matter. It hurts me that she says she didn't like me. Ouch! That hurts.

"I don't!", mabilis na agap niya, inayos ang tono ng boses.

"You're gonna like me, Marguerette Bishop, and I'm gonna let you pretend a while that you don't already", I touch her waist and pull her close to me. "Do you know how much pain your words caused me? A lot!", sabi ko.

Her eyes widened. Looks like shes never been touch before. She's not use to intimacy.

"In vampires, we have someone destined to us and for me, it is you. You are my beloved, Marguerette", I said, almost in a pleading eyes.

Namumungay ang kanyang mga mata sa akin. "I'll try, but I can't promise....", sabi niya sa akin. "....because you keep on talking with Melissa and I hate it", she rolled her eyes on me.

"Are you jealous?", I laugh, I feel very happy.

Umirap siya sa akin. "Isn't it obvious?", she pat my shoulder and my clothes on my shoulder part burned.

Mabilis kong hinawakan iyon para patayin ang apoy.

"I won't. I'm avoiding her, you see!", natatawang sabi ko.

She laugh and open her mouth to say something ngunit bigla nalang nagsusumigaw ang kung ano sa labas.

Mabilis kaming lumabas ni Marguerette para tingnan ang naroon. Ngunit ang bumungad sa amin ay ang malalaking mga apoy na tumutupok sa mga bahay na naroon.

I smell the air and I conclude, the one who's walking towards the clearing is the vampires.

"Vampires!", sigaw ng mga naroon.

Pilit nilang labanan ang kung ano mang atake ng mga bampira ngunit hindi nila ito kinaya.

May lalaking huling dumating. Napatitig ako doon at kaagad nakilala kung sino.

"Ambrogio", sabi ko.

Ambrogio immediately turn to me and smirk.

"What a excellent surprise!", I sarcastically says.

"I'm here for my vengeance. And you", sabay turo niya sa akin. "Will pay for what Cecilion did to my family!", sabi niya at mabilis na lumitaw sa aking harapan.

"I'm not indebted to you to ask me for a payment!", I confidently said. I keep Marguerette at my back.

Dinungaw siya ni Ambrogio. "I see you already find your mate, too?", he smirks at me. "She'll end up with Cecilion's beloved", sabi niya sa akin.

"You wish, brother. I'm not like Cecilion who'll bow down to you, Your Majesty!", ngumisi ako sa kanya.

Mabilis niyang inangat ang kanyang kamay para sana sakalin ako ngunit mabilis ko iyong naiwasan. I turn to his back and kick the back of his knee and I made him kneel.

"Kneel, Your Majesty!", sabi ko at umambang sumugod ang iilang kakampi niyang bampira sa akin ngunit mabilis kong napatigil sila. I summoned elektrokinesis and I burned them with lightning.

Mabilis na tumayo si Ambrogio at hinarap si Marguerette. He's too good at attacking our weakness. Kaya mabilis kong tinulak si Marguerette at hinawakan ang pulsuhan ni Ambrogio.

"You can't touch her! I won't let you!", matigas na sabi ko at malakas na sinuntok ang kanyang dibdib. He step several steps backward as I grip on Marguerette and run away from them.

Hindi ko alam kung saan ako patungo but this time, I won't fall and come down falling off from the mountain.

Hindi pa nga kami masyadong nakalayo ay nakasalubong ko si Cecilion. He grab my wrist and Marguerette's as we enter a huge circle of fire and disappear.

Segundo lang ang lumipas ay nakarating kami sa ibabaw ng talampas.

"Where are we?", tanong ko.

"At mount Abellen. It's safe here", sagot nito sa akin at bumaba ang tingin niya sa kay Marguerette.

My beloved is trembling in fear.

"I see you found her", si Cecilion.

"Yeah, and don't be jealous!", I teased him.

He rolled his eyes on me. "What Ambrogio is up to?", he asked.

"For vengeance. He wants me to pay for what you've done. Wait! What exactly did you do?", naguguluhang tanong ko.

"I killed the former kings from the second generations to fifth!", simpleng sagot nito.

"And that's not enough. We need more!", sabi ko sa kanya. "If we have the chance to kill him, we'll do it together".
