⚜XXXIII. Blood and the Curse ⚜

Love is truly a vampire's weakness, huh? He's weak when it comes to his wife, Olena Hawthorne. I'll make sure, he's more vulnerable when it comes to his child.

Months have passed and the Balkan Clan from high position attend a great event at the Sighisoara for the birth of the hier of Ambrogio. The baby is named after him, Ambrogio II.

I went secretly to the Sighisoara and witness how Ambrogio I prevented the curse I'm sending to him. A Lemnos Witches is helping him to do it. They are more beyond powerful than me. Witches are beyond Selene's domain. It's out of the control of the goddess.

I got very disappointed. I've gone mad. All my life, I wanted to give Ambrogio the punishment he deserves. I spend all the passing years, putting my life on the line just to punish him this but I failed.

The only thing I am successful is for Ambrogio I not to pass his hybrid blood to his sons and other generations. It would really be a disaster.

I left Romania after a year using a portal, a gateway from other world to another, to the other dimension. I want to leave for now. Having runes gives me power to create a portal.

But I didn't leave Nathaniel unprotected. Although he doesn't need it. He can handle himself, he probably have other abilities I don't know of.

Sighisoara, I brought a curse to this land and give them prophecy. And when I am gone. I hope it will take place. I don't believe that the powerful creature doesn't have weakness, I'm sure Ambrogio I's time will come, maybe not now, but soon.

For years of looking for answers, ngayon ko lang nalaman. With the help of the Lemnos Witches, I now know what's the cause of the things that happened to me and to my son and all the generations after my time.

"The goddess of the moon is giving a curse, Your Majesty", the Hag said habang tiningala niya ang buwan.

"What's the way to terminate the curse? Is there a way, Lemnos?", I asked.

"It's not the moon goddess alone that gives you a curse, Your Majesty. One of your blood relatives is sending you that", sagot nito sa akin. "To stop it, I need your blood to cast a spell for your protection and to your future generations", sabi nito sa akin.

I don't know who might be. One of my blood relatives? It's either the Morgenstien or the Lorenzittee.

I'm sure it's the Lorenzittee. None of the Morgentien are this powerful. And.....who might be the one sending me this suffering from the Lorenzittee?

Kanino ako mas mayroong mabigat na kasalanan? I suddenly remember Cecilion and Nathaniel. They despise me to the depth of their hearts. But, are they that powerful to bring me curse? The hybrid? Cursed?

After the help from the Lemnos, none of the curse happened again throughout the years. Napanatag ang loob ko na walang mangyayaring masama.

After a hundred of years, I passed my throne to my heir and another and another heir.

For over four centuries, none of the generations experienced the curse. The way to cut it all of just my blood. My blood and the curse.

So I decided to leave Romania and come back to Bulgaria with Olena. All the former kings are with me all the way to Bulgaria.

We created another home here. They want to continue the life they have started in Sighisoara here. Iyon ang naging plano nila ngunit iba ang pinaplano ko.

I'll look for my brothers. Not to ask for forgiveness and settle the broken relationship we had, but I'm looking for them to kill them. One of them brought sufferings to me, they should also suffer with the consequences.
