I didn't know how did I survive with my almost death. The water is planted with vervain. Although it won't kill us but I will weaken us to the almost death. All vampires from different stages can feel the pain by vervain.

I don't know where Ambrogio is dahil pagising ko ay narito na ako sa loob ng isang kubo. There are people chatting outside and I hear Nathaniel's voice. He's here and he broke my neck.

Mabilis akong lumabas ngunit kaagad din akong hinarangan ni Lorenzo at Luke.

"Where are you going?", tanong ni Lorenzo sa akin.

Nakatingala si Nathaniel sa akin. Si Rosemary ay nasa malayong bahagi at nakatingin din sa amin.

"Where's Ambrogio?", I ask.

"See? He'll really look for Ambrogio", si Nathaniel. "At the sea, floating to his death", he acted like dying. He made a face.

Dahil sa binigay niyang ekpresyon ay kaagad nag init ang gilid ng aking mga mata.

"Where is he!?", I let out a loud voice kaya lahat sila ay nagulat sa akin.

They know me as the soft kind of person and a vampire but they never saw me so horrifying.

"It's just you we saw at the sea, Cecilion. Pero nasisigurado kung buhay si Ambrogio", sabi ni Lorenzo.

"How sure are you?", my eyes burned with red and fire. They all look scared of me.

Tanging si Nathaniel lamang ang nanatiling kalmado at natatawa pa sa sitwasyon. What do I expect? His brain won't connect to any situation. He's a psycho.

"A hundred percent sure, brother. Ambrogio isn't dumb as you who'll let yourself float and be caught by a fish net. Just be thankful that Lorenzo and his sidekicks go out fishing", mahabang lintaya ni Nathaniel.

Kaagad akong kumalma sa sinabi niya. Ambrogio can find a way on anything. He's alive, I'm sure of that.

Buong araw kaming narito sa loob ng kagubatan. I don't know what they do for a living pero ang sabi ni Lorenzo ay tanging mga hayop lamang ang kanilang kinakain.

Although it don't make them stronger but at least they live and feed for survival. The blood from the animals gives them enough strength to run if even there's a threat for their lives.

Us, the Originals, we don't need to drink blood everyday to make us stronger. It doesn't matter. We're strong even with or without the presence of blood in our systems.

Sa malakas na pag ihip ng hangin ay lumalagaslas ang mga dahon sa puno. Maraming dahon na nahulog sa aking paanan.

I watch them cook their foods. I'm leaning on the large body of a tree. Nathaniel not around. I don't know where but I'm sure he's doing his little tricks. We're here for weeks now.

Habang pinakiramdaman ang malamig na hangin ay muli kong naalala si Thalia. She's very beautiful. Her skin is fair white and her full lips is pinkish. Her hooded eyes and her long and narrow nose looks surreal. The arc of her lips looks kissable.

Hey! What am I thinking? I'm pretty sure she's still very young. Say it fifteen or sixteen.

But the moment we meet, I can't take away the image of her angry eyes. The way her heart beats so fast when she shifted into human form under me.

She is. I finally found her. But I couldn't get a chance to take her and to be with her. She's too young for now. Maybe she doesn't know how beloved in our kind and mate in theirs works.

Especially now that the situations are not yet at peace. Ambrogio is out there, Nathaniel is here, I'm here with my friends. It's not yet time to focus on love when I still have a family issues to settle.

Love. That word. The vampires greatest weakness. Beloved doesn't work like mates. For us, beloved isn't really that important. Love is weakness for us and it's the opposite to the werewolves. Mate is important to them. It gives them reason to live while us, that must be the reason to die.

But when the time comes, I won't take that feeling away from her. I'll make her feel what love is. What it feels like to have a mate, also, I will know what it feels like to have a beloved.

Kaagad akong tumayo ng mabilis na lumitaw sa aking harapan si Nathaniel na parang hinahabol ito.

We immediately went to the center clearing. Nasa likoran namin sila Lorenzo, Luke at Rosemary.

In a slow movements, the werewolves went to us. The bigger one is growling at us. That's probably the leader. Dahan-dahan ang kanilang galaw habang papalapit.

"This is fun. It's the real game that's happening", Nathaniel laughs. "Hey! Doggy, catch!", he said playfully as he throw a dead rabbit into the wolf.

The black one growled again as they shifted into their human form.

"We're here to look for Cecilion. Which one of you?", sabi ng isang lalaki.

Kaagad akong nagtaas ang kamay.

"Why are you looking for me?", tanong ko sa kanya. He looks familiar. Very familiar.

"Because of my brother Ambrogio. He wants to take you to our place", sabi nito.

"Brother? We don't have blood of a werewolf in our kind", si Nathaniel.

"I'll bring my friends", sabi ko sa kanila.

Nilingon ko kaagad si Lorenzo ngunit kaagad itong umiling sa akin.

"We'll stay here, Cecilion. You should go", sabi niya sa akin.

Gusto ko pa sanang magsalita ngunit nakitaan ko ang pagkasigurado ang kayang mga mata. They are determined to stay here.

"You're coming with them?", si Nathaniel sa akin.

"Ambrogio is with them. We should go", sabi ko sa kanya.

"Who is he?", the wolf man asked.

"My other brother", sagot ko sa kanila.

"Johnson, tara na!", the man from behind shouted at the man in front of me.

"Let's go", si Johnson sa akin.

I nodded my head and walk towards them. Nilingon ko sila Lorenzo para magpaalam. Nathaniel followed me but his eyes won't stop lingering around them.

"You know werewolves are vampire's mortal enemies, right?", he asked.

"Ambrogio's father is a werewolf", sabi ko.

I didnt saw a surprise reaction from his face. Just a steady expression. Na para bang hindi man lang siya nagulat.

"So, he's both vampire and a werewolf?", he ask me.

Kaagad akong umiling. "He's father is a werewolf and our mother is human. He's born werewolf but he's created as a vampire, it means he's just a vampire", sabi ko.

Kumunot ang noo ni Nathaniel. "What? He should be a werewolf because it runs in his blood. Why vampire?", aniya.

I tilted my head to my right. I don't know either. I just know that Ambrogio is a vampire and there's something inside him that's werewolf. If he want it out, he needs to trigger something inside of him.
