⚜ XLVI. Kill ⚜

Like what's on the chronological event is written. The Rising will happen today. And I'm sure that Niklaus will manage to kill Ambrogio. But before that, he needs to die first. He's link to Ambrogio the moment his hand touches the blood of the clans that's close to Ambrogio. The Balkan, the Callahan and the Lupine Ridge where the hybrid is.

I know the Rising is happening now but I still have something I settle. I try to find Thalia's location using Cassandra's blood. She's the doppelganger of Thalia. They must be somehow connected.

Ngunit ilang ulit na akong gumagamit ng divination using serving skill locator spell, ay hindi ko talaga makita kung nasaan si Thalia. There's something that's sealing her right now. Something powerful spell that's sealing her that's why my locator spell won't work.

I leave when the sky turns dark. Mabilis akong gumawa ng portal na patungo sa Hawthorne Palace at pagdating ko doon ay siya naman ang pagtama ng curse dagger sa dibdib ni Ambrogio.

I should be satisfied with the sight of  him dying but I couldn't find a small piece of happiness inside me.

He push it deeper to Ambrogio's chest so I immediately drive Niklaus away from Ambrogio.

Ambrogio chuckled because of what I did to Niklaus. Because of irritation from his laugh, I inserted my hands to his chest and grip on his heart.

Right now, the pity I feel for Ambrogio faded as I watch his eyes. He's the Ambrogio that killed my beloved. I change my mind. I won't save him anymore.

I grip on his heart and squeeze it. I can even hear his blood getting out from the artery as I crush it inside of his body.

"Now, the time has come. It's my pleasure to watch you die and suffer, brother!", ngumisi ako sa kanya.

I should have let Niklaus killed him but I want his life end with my own hands. He's a hybrid. The only effective way to kill a hybrid is rip their hearts of or chop their heads.

I want his life to end in my own hands. His hands touched Thalia's blood. He took the life of an important person from me. Now, I'm taking his.

I turn to Niklaus. "Heal your friends with the blood on your dagger", sabi ko sa kanya.

His friends are unconscious. Scratch that. They are his family, cousins and brother.

"If you'll kill me, you'll never see your beloved Thalia again, Cecilion", ngumisi siya sa akin.

My eyebrows furrowed. What did he just say? Thalia is dead. He killed her. And how will I see her again? He'll take my life and we'll both meet at the other side?

Ha! Pathetic. I won't believe your lies again, Ambrogio. I will never believe it again.

"You killed her and our father. You don't really care about the family. A monster like you deserves to die", I said coldly and firmly.

"I know where they're buried. Come on, brother. If you kill me, you won't reunite with them again".

My faith shakes. How I badly want to see Thalia. Vampire's weakness is indeed love. Ang inaalagaan kong galit para kay Ambrogio ay unti-unting nawawala. The moment he mentioned that he knows where they are buried, there's something inside of me that believes him and want to trust him.

I look him in the eyes at tinantaya ang kanyang reaksyon. I saw sincerity inside his eyes. Hindi ako maaaring magkamali. The Ambrogio I used to recognized as a brother is back again. His humanity is back again.

I do want him dead. But, he's my brother. The brother I look up to, the best friend I will always have. The one who's always with me all of my adventures. He taugh me many things in life.

"Kill him! Just kill him!",

Niklaus encourage me but I made up my mind. I already made a decision. I'm keeping Ambrogio alive but with my terms now. He'll live under my terms. If he disobey me. I will kill him my own.

I pull my hands out from his chest without his heart.

"I can't let my brother die like you don't want yours too".

I desiccated Ambrogio but only stop his heartbeat. I didn't drained his blood.

"I promise we won't interfere with your lives again. I'm sorry!", sabi ko at mabilis na naglaho sa kanilang harapan.

I casted a cloak spell and created a portal that connect me to Bulgaria. I don't know where Nathaniel is but I get rid of him in my mind for now.

I should focus on Ambrogio. I undo the spell. I make his heart beats again. Ilang sandali lang ay nagising siya habang nakahiga sa maruming sahig. We're here in our old mansion so he'll realize what real family is. Back to our house. Back to where we all began.

"Why didn't you kill me?", he asked when he wakes up.

"I want one thing", sabi ko. "Where did you buried father?", tanong ko.

"And Thalia", he added from my own question. "Is that why you keep me alive, brother?", he asked me a question. "Is that why you didn't rip my heart out or you feel pity on me?".

I glared at him. "I keep you alive in hopes that you'll change. But you're living under my terms now", sabi ko at tinaas ang aking duguang kamay. "I once had your heart in my hands, brother. Don't think I can't do it again", sabi ko.

Huminga siya ng malalim. "You didn't kill me then because you still see me as your brother", he look me in the eye. Tears formed in his eyes. "Thank you, brother".

Magsasalita pa sana ako ngunit may sasakyan na umilaw sa labas ng mansion.

I know who it is. Ambrogio must prepare for him.
