The enemy

This one-shot will be talking about how Katniss gradually became the enemy in Peeta's eyes.

My name is Peeta Mellark and I'm from District Twelve. I am currently prisoner at the Capitol with Johanna Mason, Annie Cresta, Enobaria and other people. We've been there ever since Katniss Everdeen blew up the arena's force field.

I wake up and realize that I am still in the Capitol. All I remember is that after Katniss destroyed the arena force field, soldiers came to take me. I know they also have Johanna, Enobaria and also Annie, the one Finnick was talking about. They torture us in different ways. I know Johanna is tortured in the water but I don't know how, and Annie gets hit and I think she was raped. They think we have informations about a certain rebellion that I have never heard of before. I think Johanna knows what they're talking about, but I know she won't tell them anything.

I know it might sound weird to some people, but we are kind of bound by the screams that we make and this experience that we have.

Personally, I don't know what they're doing to me. Every day they inject me with something and show me pictures of the Hunger Games, especially Katniss. They keep telling me "Katniss is your enemy, you will have to kill her when you have the chance".

Katniss

I don't know how to place myself in relation to her. I don't know if she is my friend or my enemy. I don't know if I should listen to the doctors on Capitol Hill or if I should trust her.

And then one day everything seemed clearer.

Katniss Everdeen condemned us all. Because of her, thousands of innocent people will be killed. Because of her, we are tortured here while she is living her best life in District Thirteen. I should have killed her when we were in the arena, at least I wouldn't have to go through that, I will be in the village of the victors, living peacefully.

Oddly, President Snow helped me see it more clearly. He's not the enemy, it's her. It was not him who started a rebellion that will probably kill hundreds of people, it was her.

Katniss Everdeen is my enemy and I will do everything in my power to annihilate her.

I'm so sorry if this chapter is short. I really want to write a chapter about how Katniss become the enemy for Peeta but I don't had a lot of idea so I tried to do my best and I wrote that.
