"But before heaven took her we had one last talk. She said I'll continue raise you well and she also ask me to marry Grace." napalingon ako sa gawi niya.
"Sinisi niya ang sarili niya, kung hindi daw dahil sakanya edi sana ngayon may kompleto at masaya na kaming pamilya ni Grace."
"But she didn't know how lucky I am having her in my life especially you..."
Nabigla ako ng niyakap niya ako, hindi ako gumalaw at nanigas lang sa position ko.
"I'm sorry for what happen, Austin. I know you've been through a lot since then kaya I'll do everything to fix this."
"I already lose one angel. So please, stay." He whispered. Matapos no'n tinangal niya na ang pagkakayakap niya.
"Sorry." He said while smiling when he realizes what he made. I just nod my head as an answer because there's no words want to escape from my mouth.
Now I understand it all. It wasn't just me who went through hell. We all suffered. I'm sorry for Grace because she sacrifice Dad for Mom. But I understand Mom reason also. Dad should take his time before she decide to let go Grace and comeback to Mom, but I understand him also. I suffered for misconception that leads me do things that makes Walter suffered and Bulbits too. No one should be blame because it's just life never been good to us.
Bulbits' right, nakakagaan ng loob marinig ang side nila, it was as if a thorn has pulled out from my heart. I understand them now and it feels so good but there is still something bothering me.
"What's wrong?" sambit ni Dad kaya napalingon ako sakanya. He points my eye brows, he made a face like mine and now he's asking kung bakit nakadugtong ang aking mga kilay.
"Nothing." I flatly replied.
"Son, this is my first time to help you after our misunderstanding and struggles we've been through, please let me help you this time." He said kaya napabuntong hininga na lang ako. He raises her one eye brow like he's waiting to let the cat out from the box.
"Tsk..."
"What is it?"
"Uhmm y-you...you have this special person of yours, now this person is leaving. What would you do?" I don't know pero nahihiya ako.
"So, you had a special someone?" He said while grinning.
"No!" napasigaw ako sa sagot niya. I cleared my throat.
"But sadly she's leaving?" dagdag niya, Tsk.
"No, I mean uhm like when you knew that Mom had only counted hours, what did you do?" I said while trying to make my voice good.
"Your Mom could not walk in that time, so I just sat beside her and hold her hand while reminiscing the memories we had." He said seriously through my eyes without blinking.
"What I mean, Spend the remaining time together. Say what you wanted to say, show what you want to show and do what you wanted to do for her." He said while giving me a genuine smile.
"Even if it's not right?" Because someone already owns her.
"What do you mean son?"
"Nothing. Just forget it." patay malisya kong sagot.
"Okay, I don't want to force you kaya my only advice is to do everything so, that you have no regrets in the end." The sun is already set and darkness starts to cover us, Nagpaalam kami ni Dad kay Mom at umuwi.
