Thirty Six
Draco pulled Harry closer into his chest, the smaller boy fitting perfectly into the space under his chin.
They had cast a silencing charm and pulled the curtains shut around them, hidden from the other sleeping boys.
"Where d'you go," Draco asked him quietly, stroking a hand through Harry's messy, raven locks.
"Dumbledore said he wanted to talk to me," Harry muttered and Draco physically stiffened. He had been ordered to kill Dumbledore in sixth year, luckily the older wizard had dissapearated into a small muggle town, where he stayed until the war passed. A rather cowardly move in Draco's opinion, not that he would admit it out loud nor hold it against the head teacher. Everyone had made bad decisions, wrong choices, but the war was over now, right?
"What did he want," Draco asked pushing away the negative thoughts swarming in his chest.
Harry shrugged, "I don't really know, he said he wanted a chat but it didn't really end well,"
"That, I can tell," Draco joked softly, the hand he had wrapped around Harry squeezing his shoulder softly.
Harry smiled in spite of himself, he considered telling Draco about seeing his parents but he didn't feel like putting any more strain on the poor boy than he already had, "He ended up giving me some whole lecture about everything having a reason and I got kinda pissed,"
"Did he hurt you," Draco snapped rather suddenly, remembering Harry's bleeding forehead.
"No, no, that was my own stupidity, knocked over a glass bowl and it smashed and hit me in the head," Harry smirked.
"You idiot," Draco chuckled.
"Yeah but im your idiot," Harry added.
"Fine, my idiot," Draco corrected, pushing himself about Harry and placing a quick, chaste, kiss on his lips. Harry grinned, his emerald eyes shining, even in the dim light that was produced by Draco's wand.
Draco turned his head to check the other boys were still asleep, glancing through a slit in the curtain, when Harry's bed side table caught his eye.
"Hazza, what's this," he teased reaching out into the open drawer and grabbing up a piece parchment before closing the curtain back up.
"Don't," Harry blushed trying to grab at the paper but Draco grabbed his wrists in one hand and used the other to point his wand.
The light flooded over the parchment and Draco grinned, the soft lines of his own drawing decorated the page, forming together to show the picture he had drawn of Harry in detention.
"You kept this," He smirked, waving around the paper, "Who's the lover boy now,"
"Still you," Harry snapped, but there was a playful twinge to his voice as he snatched the parchment back and shoved it in his drawer.
Draco chuckled and pulled the small boy into his arms once again, placing a quick kiss on top his head.
Harry smiled into Draco chest, as close as he could get, wanting to close any distance between them.
They fell asleep like that, free of worry, just two boys, falling madly in love.
-time skip, make sure to vote or draco will tell his father-
Harry's eyes fluttered open, greeted by a slither of light that had flooded through a gap in the curtains.
He nestled his head into the pillow and heard a deep chuckle from someone else in the room. Lifting his head slowly he saw Draco sitting above him, and he realised his pillow was not a pillow but Draco's chest.
He blushed a soft pink and ran a hand through his hair, musing it up. "How long have you been awake," he asked.
"Dunno, heard the other boys wake up a while ago but it's Saturday, so I decided to let you sleep and luckily no one checked on you or they would of had quite a surprise,"
Harry laughed, pulling himself up into a sitting position beside Draco, they were quite squashed on the single bed, their hips pressed together.
"Oh is that me," Harry pointed at the parchment Draco had been sketching on.
Draco hummed a yes in response and handed the parchment to Harry, "Here, keep it,"
"Don't you want it, you never keep your work, if I could draw like this I would have it hanging up all over my walls," Harry argued lightly, smacking Draco's arm in disbelief.
Draco brushed off the question, "I dunno, just a habit,"
"Right should we get up then," He changed the subject, standing up and pushing open the curtains around Harry's bed.
Harry shook his head with a chuckle but stood up, stretching out his back.
"Here borrow some clothes," Harry muttered, throwing Draco a white t-shirt and pair of baggy muggle jeans.
Draco caught it in his hand and stared at it, then up at Harry, who was smirking at him, "Merlin I hate you sometimes,"
"Whatttt," Harry teased, "It will look good," He added.
Draco shook his head and began to change while Harry looked for clothes for himself.
"Bloody hell," Draco murmured, glancing in the mirror in Harry's form room, "I look like a muggle,"
Harry chuckled, dressed in a navy jumper and jeans, "You look hot but let me fix your hair,"
"Let you fix my hair, you don't even do your own hair," Draco turned round incredulously.
Harry smirked, "Have faith Wolfie,"
"Don't call me that Potty," He snapped as Harry pulled him down to sit on the bed and knelt behind him.
He pulled out a comb Hermione had forced him to keep and split Draco's hair down the center, fixing it into a middle part. The blonde boys hair fell to where his nose ended in soft wavy curls, framing his face rather nicely. Harry ran the brush through a couple times before standing up, "Holy mother of Merlin, you're gonna give me a stroke, how can someone be this hot," he waved his hand at Draco, who smirked.
"You should dress like this more often and you are never doing your hair with that gell stuff again," he added grabbing Draco's hand, "Come on, I wanna go for a walk,"
