Draco lay in the dirt, his body still shaking and his head in his mothers lap as she ran a hand through his hair.
Remus was shouting at Alastor, his arms waving about almost comically.
Sirius and Sienna were kneeling beside Harry, their voices wavering and breaking as they tried to wake him from his unconscious state.
"It looks like the bloods coming from his arm or his chest, i can't be too sure," Sienna whispered, running her hand gingerly over his stomach as though she was going to find a gaping hole.
"Here, help me lift him and we can get his top off," Sirius suggested slipping a hand under the boys back.
Draco pushed himself up into a sitting position, ignoring the protests from his mother and the rolling pain in his bones, "Don't" he spoke hoarsely.
Sirius and Sienna glanced at him, "What?"
"There's mud, it- it, could get infected," he stuttered thinking on the spot.
"Right, right yeah, smart," Sienna responded, rather flustered, "We need to get moving now then."
"Exactly the more reason to apparate," Alastor argued with Remus.
"They somehow tracked us and they can do it again if we apparate," Remus countered.
"They could of tracked you to Costa Rica but not to the bar, they found out another way," Alastor voice was gruff and he seemed rather determined to win the argument, "They have more chance of tracking floo's or-,"
"Alright, fine, let's apparate then," Remus ceded, folding his arms.
Alastor lips glided into a thin, victorious smile, "Sirius take Draco, Remus take Harry and the rest of us can go ourselves. Sienna please go alert the rest of the order and bring them along."
"Look at the old man giving all the orders," Remus snapped under his breath as he picked Harry up. The poor boy looked so fragile and tired as he whimpered in his sleep.
Sirius snickered at his husbands comment and turned towards Draco, reaching down to give him a hand up, "All good mate," he asked gently.
"Apart from the fact that I pissed myself, yeah i'm all good," Draco chuckled wryly as he slowly stood to his feet and took Sirius arm.
"Happens to the best of us," Sirius smiled.
"Ok are we all ready, wands out just incase," Alastor grunted, drawing his own wand.
There were murmurs of agreement and one by one cracks echoed through the trees, leaving behind the empty mess.
A old man stepped out of the shadows, taking in the sight before him. He checked the time on his small golden pocket watch, before slipping it back in his pocket. Then he turned back to the darkness and slipped away, just watching.
Draco doubled over as soon as his feet made contact with the earth. He felt a strong hand on his back and another helped him stand up.
He took a second to breathe before opening his eyes and looking up. A large white house stood in front of him, surrounded by trees and a white picket fence. Balcony's protruded from the many windows at the front, laced with black frames and rails. He was standing on a path that led through the grass to a black front door and another path that lead off into the trees.
"That one takes you to the beach," Sirius whispered, pointing at the second path.
Draco glanced at it, before another crack echoed and Moody appeared, "Come on inside, no dawdling, quickly now."
He made his way up to the two front door and the rest followed.
Draco plonked down on the first couch he saw and glanced around at the quaint wooden bench tops and curling chandeliers. There was a staircase leading upwards and doors weaved around the walls. Remus entered one, Harry still in his arms, before coming back empty handed and taking a seat on an armchair. He laid his head in his hands while Sirius stood behind him and massaged his shoulders.
Sienna came in a moment later and stepped through the thick silence, "I um, set up some protection charms but you might wanna do a couple more," She muttered to Alastor who nodded and left the house again.
"Right I better go deal with Harry, which room is he in," She sighed.
"That one," Remus pointed at a door to his right, "He's still asleep."
"Wait," Draco blurted our attracting the attention to himself, "Can I."
"Can you what," Sienna quizzed.
"Help Harry, I- I really want to practice, i'm really interested in being a healer," he lied, protecting the precious secret of the scars on Harry's wrist.
Sienna stalled for a moment, "All right, fine, as long as you call me if you need help and don't touch his leg."
"Yeah alright," Draco answered quickly and hurried off to the room Remus had pointed towards.
It was dark inside and smelled like it hadn't been used in a while. He reached for a light switch and flicked it on, illuminating Harry who was laying, sprawled out, on the middle of a double bed.
There was a bathroom to Draco's right and the wall facing him was covered in floor to ceiling windows with blinds pulled tightly across.
Harry whimpered as Draco approached him, closing the door behind himself.
He carefully lifted up Harry's white long sleeved t-shirt and pulled it over his head.
He felt his stomach drop at the sight before him. Harry's torso was littered with red and purple bruises, his skin barley visible. His wrist was red with blood, the nearly healed scars, now split open.
He sighed and pulled out his wand, waving it over his chest and wrist to clean up the blood and slightly heal the bruises. He flipped over his wrist and took another deep breath before he muttered a spell and watched the lines heal to white. He waved it one last time for the cut across his face before slipping it back into his pocket.
He pulled off his own jumper and pulled it on Harry, placing a chaste kiss on the small boys forehead, salty beginnings of tears blooming in his eyes. He still loved him, a part of him always had, he guessed he had been wrong to assume Harry loved him back.
"Dray," Harry murmured, reaching out towards Draco, "cuddles, i'm sorry."
Draco froze for a moment before turning on his heel and leaving the room, the door closing with a slam.
He turned to find an abundance of eyes staring at him curiously and he quickly wiped the tears from his face, "He's fine," he muttered to Sienna before taking a seat on the couch.
Annie gave him an odd long, along with his mother who was sitting next to Mark, leaning against him.
He scowled at them and dropped his gaze to his knees.
The rest of the order were milling around the large dining room, McGongall was talking to Alastor and Remus in quiet but urgent voices and Sienna, Sirius, Annie and Kinglsy were setting out drinks.
"You sure you're alright Dray," His mother asked softly.
"For Merlins sake i'm fine," He snapped, fed up. His mother reached out again but he stood abruptly, storming through the door next to Harry's. He had no idea what it was but it seemed to be another bedroom. It was almost identical to the one before and he dived onto the bed, curling up under the blankets. He didn't realise how tired he was until he let his eyes flutter close and the darkness overtook him in a soft wave.
