Harry was curled up on the couch when he woke, it was silent apart from the occasion ruffle of the curtains as a breeze slipped through the open window. His eyes fluttered open and he shivered wrapping the blanket tighter around him.

He slowly brought himself to a sitting position and glanced around, the room was empty. He was about to call out when he heard a cough from upstairs, followed by faint voices. He frowned and stood up the blanket trailing over his shoulders. He made his way towards the stairs and carefully placed his foot on the first step, checking if it creaked.

When he deemed that it was safe, he continued, testing each step. He reached the corridor and made his way down it, towards the door that the noise was coming from. He paused outside it, pressing his ear to the door. He had considered entering unannounced but the thought of the things he could of walked in on stopped him.

"I'm alright really," Draco croaked, his voice echoing through the wood. Harry stepped back stumbling slightly in surprise. The voices faltered and Harry, deciding it was now or never, pushed the door open and walked into the room.

The white sheets that surrounded Draco were magically cleaned of blood but the red stains on his top where enough to claim a wrenching gasp from Harry. His eyes were wide, drizzled with unease.

"Harry," Remus exclaimed rather startled by the boys presence.

"Harry," Draco repeated, his voice a mere whisper.

Harry backed towards the door, his hand reaching behind him for the handle.

"Don't go," Draco begged, trying to sit up. He winced and Sirius put a hand on his shoulder holding him back.

Harry hesitated, frozen by the door, "What happened,"

"I got hurt," Draco murmured drawing his eyes to look at everything but Sirius.

"Yeah no shit," Harry yelled , stepping closer into the room and gesturing with his hands. Draco winced at his tone and shrunk back causing Harry to swallow down the guilt rising in his throat, "Sorry."

Draco didn't speak, and instead he pulled the covers up further and turned his head away.

Sirius and Remus shared a look, "We'll give you two a second, i'll get some food downstairs if you want any," Remus stood up, pulling Sirius towards the door.

The door snapped close and Draco winced again. "Alright i'm sorry for yelling, and i'm sorry for getting mad at you for leaving last night," Harry sighed.

Draco didn't answer, he let out a shaky breath and his hand clenched around the covers.

"For merlins sake Dray," Harry murmured under his breath as he started across the room. He slid under the covers next to Draco and put his arm around him, pulling him into his chest.

"You stink of blood," Harry muttered glancing uneasily at Draco's blood stained top.
"Sorry," Draco whispered back.

Harry sighed again and got up moving over to the dresser. Her pulled open one of the drawers and rummaged through it messing up the folded shirts. He finally grabbed one and moved back over to Draco, "Here sit up."

Draco opened his eyes slightly to see Harry holding up the top and he shook his head, "I'm not wearing one of their tops," He argued quietly pointing at the door that Remus and Sirius had just walked out of.

"It's mine, I left it here a while ago," Harry rolled his eyes and put his hands under Draco's shoulders to help him sit up.

"Here lift your arms," Harry encouraged and Draco lifted his arms slightly, trying not to wince at the pain that rushed through his shoulder. Harry pulled the blonde boys top off and threw it on the floor, apologising profusely when Draco grimaced in pain.
