"Hey Harry," Ron shouted happily, running over to the boy who was lying on his bed doing homework.

Harry hummed a response without looking up.

"Post comes tomorrow morning," He beamed excitedly, jumping onto Harry's bed and making the precariously balanced ink pot spill onto the sheets.

Harry sighed and cleaned it up with a spell before turning to Ron, "It does that every Saturday morning,"

"Yes but Mum said she was sending me a gift because i've been doing good in class,"

"Oh that's really cool," Harry exclaimed emptily.

Ron huffed at his friends lack of enthusiasm and left the room to go and tell Hermione.

Harry bit his lip as he watched his friend leave the room grumpily. He really was happy for Ron but his mind was too preoccupied to care about anything at the moment.

He had sent another letter to his secret to his secret admirer but they still hadn't answered, causing the desperation to know who it was grow tenfold inside of him.

If only he could see who received the letter.

He froze, his heart racing at the thought of the idea that had appeared in his mind.

"I'm a bloody genius," He smirked to himself jumping out of bed in excitement.

It had only just gone nine but he couldn't wait to get sleep. He changed quickly and flicked of the light huddling into his bed.

Squeezing his eyes shut, he wished himself off to sleep as though it couldn't come quickly enough.

Harry bolted up right in bed grabbing for his glasses on the bedside table.

He squinted at the clock which confirmed that breakfast was about to start.

He jumped up changing into his robes, throwing his tie around his neck and grabbing the small piece of parchment he had written a message on last night.

He hurried down the stairs without waking Ron and ran into the common room.

"Good morning," Hermione sang cheerfully.

Harry stopped and looked up to see Hermione walking over to him from one of the arm chairs.

"What's the rush about," She asked fixing Harry's tie around his neck.

"Come on we have to get to the owlery before breakfast," Harry pleaded trying to pull away towards the door.

"What about Ron," She asked glancing up at the staircase.

"Please just come with me," Harry begged tapping his wand on his leg impatiently.

"Oh fine," She sighed exasperatedly, following Harry as he ran out of the common room.

Harry hurried towards the owlery with Hermione struggling to keep up with him.

He was sprinting up the stairs when he crashed into a taller boy and fell to the ground smashing his cheek onto the cold stone step.

"Ah fuck, i'm so sorry," He groaned sitting up.

"No that was my fault sorry," The boy responded and Harry snapped his head up at the familiar drawl.

"Course it was you," He said eyeing Draco as he stood up.

"That's gonna leave a nasty bruise," The blonde boy joked as Hermione cane running up the stairs red in the face and panting.

She froze watching silently as Draco reached out his hand, running his thumb over the broken skin.

Harry's heart was thumping wildly and his vision was blurred slightly.

The feeling of the others boy hand resting on his jawline overtook the sharp sting and soft throb in his cheek.

He drew his eyes up meeting a pair of soft grey. A look of lust danced in Draco's eyes as he glanced down at Harry's lips.

Hermione coughed slightly and the two boys spun away from each other exchanging a nod before Draco ran off down the stairs with wide eyes.

"So what was that about," Hermione teased walking the rest of the way up the stairs.

"Nothing, i don't know what you're on about," Harry snapped storming into the owlery.

He instantly spotted the perfect owl and Draco was cleaned from his thoughts.

He stumbled past the brown owls towards one with bright white and blue feathers.

Hermione gasped in astonishment when she saw it, "I've never seen an owl with blue feathers before,"

"Neither," Harry responded reaching into his pocket for the parchment he had written on, "That's why it's perfect,"

"Perfect for what," Hermione questioned.

"Can't say," Harry muttered as he placed the parchment in the owls beak.

"Take this to you know who in the great hall," He told the bird, who instantly flew off.

"Harry what are you doing," Hermione asked again but Harry brushed off the question.

"Come on let's get down to breakfast," he smiled skipping off down the stairs.

Hermione sighed and followed her friend who basically ran down to the great hall.

It was almost full by the time they arrived and Ron looked up at them as they sat down, "you left me," he scowled.

"Sorry mate, it was really important and I know you like your beauty sleep," Harry shrugged piling food onto his plate.

Ron just rolled his eyes and continued eating.

It didn't take long for owls to start swooping into the great hall and Harry dropped his fork, watching the roof eagerly.

The owl with white and blue feathers stood out very obviously in the crowd of brown and Harry felt his heart race in his chest as he followed it with his eyes.

It flew around in circles for a while before gliding down and dropping the letter in front the last person Harry would ever expect.

Harry felt his eyes grow wide and bile rise in his throat.

He stumbled up from his chair and sprinted from the great hall as fast as he could.
