Chapter 20: Back To Normal

Shadow's been defeated, and 4 months later, the town has been rebuilt. It seems like that was the end. But let's see how they are...

The city has fully recovered from the incident with the shadows from the Annihilation Realm. People continued to roam the streets.

Guest and his friends decided to have a picnic at the park, as they watch people chatting with their friends, and playing with them, too.

"I'm glad that everything is back the way it is after 4 months!" Daisy turned to her friends. "I know! It's great when after something bad, everything is fine!" Jez replied.

"Everything, but them. Still don't know what to do with them." Matt frowned. "Matt, I don't think that's a bad thing. I mean, they just want to know more about ourselves!" Rose turned to Matt.

"Well, bro?" Bethany nudged Jez. "Well, most of my memories with my dad is when yelling at me, or getting me to train hard." he explained. "But there is one memory that I will never forget.."

Jez was 6 at the time. It was in P.E. in his school. He managed to make himself the MVP of the game. Everyone cheered for him. Except for a few bacon hairs who were jealous of him.

"Gosh, what a show off" the skinny one said. "Yeah, I know. He thinks he is so cool when he really isn't" The tanned bacon hair said.

"How about we pay him a little visit?" the bacon hair with one part of his hair red and another black. The rest of it is just the regular hair color.

Everyone left the gymnasium to go back home. Jez was ready to leave, but the three boys walked toward him. "Uh..." Jez didn't know what to say.

"Hey man, how's it going!?" The red and black haired bacon hair tried to act nice. "I'm doing great!" Jez replied.

"Hey, you got something on your face!" the red and black haired bacon then punched Jez in the face, knocking him to the ground.

"Ha ha! He is so pathetic!" the skinny one said. "He thinks that he looks tough with this scar on!" the tanned bacon hair mocked.

"Just because you're the general's son, doesn't mean you're gonna be a strong leader like him!" the red and blacked haired bacon chuckled.

The boys start to laugh at him, and Jez sat at the ground looking down. That's when the general came up right behind them.

The boys stop, slowly turn around, and see the general with his arms crossed. "Oh! Uh..." the red and black haired kid then quickly helps Jez up and pats his back, with an awkward smile.

Then they ran out the door. "Hi, dad" Jez mumbled to himself. "Come on, Jez" the general instructed his son.

"He's mad at me that I didn't stand up to myself. He's going to punish me..." Jez thought to himself. But then the general did something he didn't expect.
