The Last Guest 5: Aftermath [OLD]

Chapter 9: Attack of the Shadow Creatures

Our friends now know who took our friend Matt and Ryan. But they do not know that Ryan IS the kidnapper, Shadow. They set off to find our friend, and little Charlie is left behind. And there is danger, heading to their direction.

Our friends are currently passing through Rosewood forest to go to the Dark Forest. The sky is starting to turn into it's orange color. Bethany took out her flashlight, just in case it gets too dark.

The Last Guest turned to the voice. "Well, it's been a year and a half since it all happened!" he responded. "I am taking it well."

"Jez is still upset about what happened to Zara, and Rose is pretty much scarred for life" he continued. "Matt and Molly seemed to forget about it, my family recovered 5 days after the war, and I'm not sure about Bethany..."

"I'm fine! I haven't had a good fight in years!" she replied. "Fighting those bacon soldiers was the coolest thing I've ever done!"

They continued to walk down the path. Until Jez heard a loud SNAP! Jez quickly turned to where the sound came from.

"What was that?" he asked. Molly turned in his direction, face filled with confusion. "What was what?" she asked.

Jez brushed it off. "I guess it's nothing". They continued down the path, it got darker as they did. Bethany decided it was the best time to turn on her flashlight.

Bethany stopped as she heard a faint noise. Her friends continued down the path. They turned around to see what the issue was.

She turned around, flashlight in hand. She shined the light around the area in front of her. Nothing was there.

Her friends stood their in confusion. Suddenly, Bethany put her arm down, and turned around. No one knew what she was doing.

Then she quickly turned around again, then hit a black, oozy creature with only it's mouth open in the head. That's when more of them approached.

"RUN!!!" Daisy yelled. That's when they started to run along the path. More shadow creatures were right in front of them. They turned around to see another pack.

"We're surrounded!" Molly yelled. Bethany cracked her knuckles, then her neck. "Then looks like we go through them!"

They charged toward the shadow creatures. With only their fists, they knocked down every shadow creature in their way.

Jez started knocked them down with every move he got. He was cornered by many shadow creatures, and couldn't fight all of them off.

Luckily, Bethany went in for a jump kick on one of them and the two siblings got into position. They started to punch and kick the shadow creatures.

Rose was trapped with two shadow creatures. She hit one with all her might, but it was too weak. She screamed for help, and that's when Molly punched a shadow creature. Then she picked up the other and threw it at the last one.
