Chapter 28: Secrets and Lies

Our friends have been lead straight into a trap. And it seems that there is no hope. Or is there? This isn't over yet, guys! We still got a long way to go. But what will happen to our fellow friends...?

Our friends sat in the cell, feeling empty inside. "We've failed... again..." Jez sighed. "There's nothing more we can do now..."

"We don't know..." Jez sighed. "Jez..." Bethany calmly said. Jez ignored her. "I'm not sure if she's okay. We didn't even get the chance to find her" Jez continued to answer the voice's question.

"Jez?" Bethany said once more. Jez once again ignored her calls. "They've probably already fed her to the limbo or shadow creatures! Or... Or maybe, she is being tortured." Jez started to get worried.

"JEZ!" Bethany yelled. "WHAT?! WHAT IS IT SO IMPORTANT THAT YOU HAD TO YELL THAT LOUD AT ME, IN THIS CELL AFTER OUR PLAN FAILED?!" Jez yelled.

"Well, about that, our plan technically didn't fail..." Bethany said. Jez looked confused. "I... beg your pardon?" Jez asked.

"Well, in case something like this happens, we made a back up plan." Bethany said. "Yep! Good thing we did!" Guest smiled.

"What? Guess I missed that while trying to answer an asker's question. Wait, where's Matt?" Jez looked around.

The cell doors suddenly gets kicked open. Then they see Matt kicking and punching the shadow creatures in his way. Matt then searches for the key.

"Matt!" Jez yelled. "You see, if all else fails, Matt busts into the castle and help us out!" Bethany explained.

"Alright! Let's go find Charlie!" Matt yelled out loud. Everyone then ran out of the cell room. "What's next on our plan?" Jez asked.

"Well, our plan is to find Charlie. We are not leaving without her." said Daisy. "Yep, now be careful, don't get caught in the crossfire." Matt warned.

"Crossfire?" Rose asked. "Oh yeah, the craziest thing happened! Blox Watch and the Colonel started to fight Shadow, even the bacon soldiers are attacking their Colonel!" Matt explained.

"This makes no sense, well we just need to be careful!" Molly responded. They turn around the corner and find the fight going on.

The bacon soldiers attempt to kill the Colonel. The Colonel begins to kill them. One limbo creature gets on top of the Colonel. Blox Watch uses his telekinesis powers to throws the limbo creature off of him.

"Thanks, kid." the Colonel said. "Anytime." Blox Watch nodded. The team attempts to sneak past the fight.

"Hey!" Shadow yelled. The team becomes startled. Shadow begins to send some of his shadow creatures after them.

Guest and his friends braced for impact. Suddenly, when they opened their eyes, they see the bacon Colonel fighting off the shadow creatures.

Blox Watch then creates a yellow forcefield around Guest and his friends. The Colonel turned to them.
