Chapter 23: Attack of the Yellow Eyes

The army headquarters have been destroyed. The Bacon Colonel was successful on a part of his plan on taking revenge. But that was only a start, there is another threat that awaits...

Daisy, Rose, and Charlie sat in the living room of Rose's house. "Do you think they're going to be okay?" Daisy asked.

"I hope dad is able to get back home, in one piece" Charlie turned to her mother. "Well, it's pretty much quiet here." Rose sighed.

"The askers! Just in time! So uh, you're asking about me and Guest?" Daisy asked

"The askers! Just in time! So uh, you're asking about me and Guest?" Daisy asked. "Well, we did meet at the orphanage, and he did defend me when I was getting bullied"

"Nothing else interesting happened after, we just started to play video games." Daisy continued. "After a while, I started to have feelings for him. As time passed, my love for Guest got stronger and stronger" Daisy remembered.

"Then he asked me to be his girlfriend, and I obviously said yes. That's how it happened." Daisy concluded. "And that's how your mother met your father, Charlie" she turned to Charlie.

 "And that's how your mother met your father, Charlie" she turned to Charlie

"Oh, I uh... I wouldn't know, but Matt always said that it was our first kiss." Daisy replied. "It was at the fourth of July and we were going to see the fireworks tonight."

Flashback

Guest took Daisy out on the hill before the fireworks began, he was covering Daisy's eyes. "Okay, in three, two, one..." Guest then took his hands of of Daisy's eyes.

She was astonished by the view of the sunset. "Surprise! What do you think?" Guest asked. "I... I can't find the right words! This is amazing!" Daisy exclaimed.

"I knew you'd like it!" Guest sat down on the hill, Daisy sat right next to him. "You see that sun?" Guest asked. Daisy nodded in response.

"Yes, it's beautiful!" Daisy added. "That sun reminds me of you. Beauty..." Guest responded. Daisy giggled. "You're adorable, you know that right?"

"Well, I um..." Guest didn't know what to say. Suddenly, he quickly kissed Daisy on the cheek. He regretted it, but soon didn't when Daisy put her hand under his chin, turning his head to her direction, then kissing him on the mouth.
