Chapter 16: Rise of Darkness

OH NO! ALL OUR FRIENDS HAVE BEEN CAPTURED AND SHADOW IS ABOUT TO UNLEASH IS PLAN!!! But not on our watch, we've warned a friend who hasn't been captured. Let's just hope that Charlie is able to do something...

Charlie slowly wakes up, to see a white room. She looks around and finds herself locked up in a chair. She attempted to break free, but no luck.

"Hello, Charlie..." the black figure with white eyes said. Charlie's eyes widened. "You're that scary man who tried to hurt me and my friends!"

"Yes, you're correct" Shadow said. He snapped his fingers and behind him, there was a cluster of black dust. When the dust cleared up, Guest and his friends were tied up in black goo.

"NO! DAD! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO THEM?!" Charlie yelled. She could feel tears trickling out from her eye. "I am just going to... KILL THEM!" Shadow yelled.

He used his powers to create black fire. Charlie could only stare as she heard the screams of her family and friends. Then the fire circled around her.

The burning pain was excruciating, she screamed at the top of her lungs, but could only hear Shadow's laughs.

Suddenly, she heard the voice of a young boy. Calling out her name.

"CHARLIE!" the voice shouted. Charlie woke up, found herself in her room. Comfortable in her bed.

"It's just a dream..." Charlie sighed with relief. "It seemed like you had a nightmare. You were whimpering and you were drenched in cold sweat." Rex said with a concerned look on his face.

"I dreamed that the scary man was killing my friends, then tried to kill me..." Charlie explained. 

"Here" Rex walked out of Charlie's room. A few moments after, he brought a candle. He set it next to Charlie's bed. Rex then gently blew on the candle to create fire.

"That's better, it's okay now. " the fire dog reassured. "Thanks, Rex." Charlie then cuddled back into her bed.

"HUH?! WHO SAID THAT?!" Charlie quickly got up. "Oh, the askers. They're back? But why me? I thought you'd like to talk to my dad or some-" Charlie suddenly froze.

"WHAT?! My friends, my parents. CAPTURED?!" Charlie panicked. "And they want me to help?!" she yelled out.

She thought for a moment. She thought about her friends and family. She got off from her bed and grabbed her backpack. She filled it with food, water, and a few toys and gear.

Shadow stood on a hill, where he could see the Robloxian city. "At last, revenge is mine..." he muttered to himself.

He placed the staff on the grass and watched as the orb glowed at it's brightest. It then opened a portal. Suddenly, people with purple and black armor came out of the portal.

Shadow creatures, whom they have armor, came pouring out. And to top it all off, a dragon. A black dragon with it's veins glowing bright purple. It gave out a loud roar.

Charlie just finished packing her stuff as she heard the noise. She ran toward the telescope her father got her for Christmas.

Just ahead, she sees the dragon on the hill, with Shadow, standing right next to it. The army of Shadows approached the town.

Charlie grabbed her backpack and ran out of her room. Rex hears her running and decided to run after her.

Charlie walked along the path where the carnival once was. Rex ran right next to her. "CHARLIE! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

"I am going out there for my friends." Charlie responded. "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!" Rex yelled out. 

"Sorry, Rex. There's no talking me out of this" she responded. She spotted the pony from the carnival in the fence.

"The mission to rescue Matt was nothing but a hoax, and our friends have been led straight into a trap!" Charlie got onto the horse.

"I-" Rex cut himself off. "Just, stay safe. Good luck!" Rex took a step back. Charlie nodded. The horse pushed their front hooves off of the ground, partially on it's hind legs, and letting out a neigh.

Then the horse took off with Charlie on it's back.

Hours have passed. Daisy, Molly, and Rose sat around the campfire. "This is boring! There's nothing to do!" Molly whined.

"Look on the bright side, we have each other!" Rose reassured. "I'm worried. Shadow is probably on some kind of rampage now that he's got everyone." Daisy explained.

"What do you think happened to Guest and the others?" Molly asked. "What if they're dead?"

Rose panicked "DON'T SAY THAT!". Daisy turned to Rose. "Rose, Molly's probably right. What if they're... gone...?"

"No! I refused to believe that! We're getting out of here!" Rose yelled. She ran toward the door, trying to break it down.

She then stopped, realizing there is no hope. "Rose, even if we get out, it's probably too late to make things right. Shadow's probably attacking our town..." said Molly.

Daisy froze. "CHARLIE! NO! SHADOW'S GOING ATTACK THE TOWN CHARLIE IS IN!!" Daisy got up and walked around the campfire in panic.

"What do we do?! We can't lose Charlie to-" Rose was cut off by the voice of a little girl. "HEY! ANYONE IN HERE?!" the voice called out.

Daisy ran against the door and pressed her ear against it. "Can anyone hear me?!" the voice continued.

"CHARLOTTE! SHE'S HERE!" Daisy called out. "What are you doing here?!" she asked. "The voices warned me about what happened! I'm here to rescue you!" Charlie responded.

"Boy, am I glad to hear a familiar voice!" Molly ran towards to door. Charlie looked through her backpack. She then looked through the gear.

She then chose a rocket launcher. She pointed it at the door. "Wait..." Charlie paused. "How do you get this to work?!" she asked.

Then the rocket launcher suddenly went off, blowing away the door. Behind the door, Daisy, Molly, and Rose stood. Daisy ran out of the destroyed door and went to Charlie for a hug.

"Thank you..." she softly said. Charlie hugged her mother back. "Now where, to?!" Molly said.

"I don't know! The voices never said where they were!" Charlie said. Daisy looked through her pocket and found a phone. "AHA! Guest's phone could be inside where Shadow's true base is. I could use it to track his GPS!"

She opened the map in her phone. "Come on... Come on!" she mumbled to herself. Then the map pointed at the castle.

"YES! He's in a castle!" said Daisy. "Let's get a move on!" Molly yelled. They ran toward where the castle is based on the map.

Rose turned to her left and had a horrified look on her face. "Guys?!" she called. The girls look in her direction to see from above, their town getting obliterated by a dragon and many shadows.

We must hurry...
