The Last Guest 5: Aftermath [OLD]

Chapter 19: An End to it All

Our friends are free and on their way to save the day! But will they succeed? Or will they tremble in fear as Shadow causes destruction. Or is that only the beginning...?

Shadow knights continue to harm people and destroy countless homes. People sacrificing themselves for their families, and shadows breaking in to people homes. Ready to slaughter a mother, attempting to protect their children.

Guest and his friends rode to town, only to see nothing but destruction. "Holy..." Jez mumbled to himself. "What did he do?"

"Nothing good, that's for sure" Molly replied. "I'm just surprised how this horse is able to carry all of us" said Bethany.

"What can we do to stop this?!" Daisy asked. Guest looked around the area to find something. He then spotted the staff with the glowing orb, which black tentacles are holding it up.

"There! Shadow used the staff to suck our essence! If we destroy it, we can end this madness!" Guest called. "I don't understand, why does he need the essence of 4 different types of Robloxians!?" Rose asked.

"The Annihilation Realm" Bethany replied. "What?" Matt turned to Bethany. "The Annihilation Realm. I've heard stories about this. Shadows once roamed Robloxia, until 4 Robloxians trapped them in that realm." she continued.

"Those Robloxians must be 4 different types!" Jez inferred. "We have no time! We need to get that staff!" Guest yelled. That's when everyone started to run after it.

Shadow creatures were watching, and listened to their conversation. They rushed toward Shadow whom he was about to execute a person.

"WHAT?!" yelled Shadow. The shadow creatures pointed at the staff where Guest and his friends are. Shadow's eyes widened and flew toward them.

Guest reached to the staff and reached out for it. Shadow landed near the staff with a superhero landing. The impact caused Guest to fall off.

"How did you escape...?" Shadow asked. "Let's just say you underestimated us" Guest got back onto his feet.

"I should've killed you when I had the chance!" Shadow yelled. "Hey, I almost died drowning so you almost succeeded." said Guest.

Shadow let out an angry scream. Then the tentacles started to wriggle out of the ground. "That's not good!" Rose yelled.

Everyone got their weapons out from the backpack. They then grouped up to face the danger. "Guest, get the staff! We'll cover you!" Bethany informed.

"But what about you guys?" Guest asked with a concerned look. "JUST GET THE STAFF!" Bethany yelled.

Guest started to climb the tentacles holding the staff. Then the other ones came for him. His friends charged toward them, shooting them, slashing them, and bombing them.

The tentacles holding the staff started to wave. "Whoa whoa whoa!" Guest yelled as he tried to hold on tight.

"GET OFF OF THAT!" Shadow yelled as he controlled the tentacles. Guest hesitated to fall, and kept holding on. Then the tentacles started to shift.

It started to separate, all still holding onto the staff,  but holding it upside down. Guest dangled from one of them. He tried to move toward the staff.

Molly and Matt shot at some of the tentacles, backs against each other. "It's kind of working" said Matt. "But it's not enough!" Molly yelled.

The tentacles got closer toward them. "Wait a minute..." Matt thought. "Molly! Run around them!" Matt called. "What? Why?" Molly asked out of curiosity.

"Remember how you complained about your hair getting tangled?" Matt yelled. "What does that have to do-" Molly cut herself off, realizing what he meant. "OH!"

Then they started to run around the tentacles, which they were following them. They continued to do so until they got tangled. Matt and Molly then went for a fist bump.

 A larger tentacle started to attack. Daisy jumped on top of it and set bombs everywhere. Bethany joined in and planted some more.

The tentacle was covered in remote bombs. They had the controllers, and press the red button. The bombs went off, Bethany and Daisy quickly jumped off of it.

The tentacle fell  to the ground, landing on the other ones. Daisy and Bethany landed on their body, and slowly got back up. Bethany then punched Daisy in the face which threw her down at the ground.

Guest continued to move closer to the staff. That was only then a tentacle grabbed him by the leg and set him dangling. "GUYS! HELP!" he yelled.

Jez heard Guest's calls. "I'm coming, friend!" he called out. He attempted to cut the tentacle. But nothing happened. He tried again, but this time the sword broke.

Jez gave an awkward smile, then decided to run away. A tentacle grabbed him by the leg, then more grabbed him by the limbs. Starting to pull him apart, as he screams in excruciating pain.

"JEZ!" Rose yelled. "Please let him go!" she yelled. The tentacles pulled his limbs harder. "You... you..." Rose started to get angry.

"YOU LET HIM GO RIGHT THIS INSTANT, YOU MANIAC!!!" Rose screamed. She grabbed another sword from the backpack and ran toward the tentacles.

She then started to stab the tentacles, whilst screaming angrily. The tentacles let go of Jez. "Rose?" Jez questioned. Rose then leapt for the tentacle holding Guest by the leg and slashed it.

Bethany's eyes widened. "She is insane!" said Bethany. "I know right. Didn't think someone like her would go that far" Matt joined in.

"GUEST, DESTROY THE STAFF!" Rose screamed, slicing more tentacles. Guest climbed the tentacle again then grabbed the staff. "Guest!" Daisy called out, tossing him a bomb. 

Guest catches the bomb then turns to his friends. "You all better get clear!" he warned. Then his friends ran off.

"You have no idea what you're messing with..." Shadow gravely said. "You destroy that staff, and you'll die!"

Guest paused for a moment. "You're right..." he said. Then he planted the bomb and the countdown began.  "But if my friends get to live, I am fine with that."

Guest then jumped off and ran for it. "NO!" Shadow yelled and he tackled him. "YOU ARE NOT GETTING AWAY FROM THIS!" Shadow yelled.

Guest kicked Shadow away and ran. Shadow continued to chase after him.

1...

BOOM!

The bomb went off, and the orb created a larger explosion. Then the shadows got sucked back into the portal, back to the Annihilation Realm. The portal closed, then everything went white.

Then everything cleared up. Guest's friends peeked out to see if it was clear. Then they walked where the explosion was. Then they found Guest laying on the ground.

Daisy walked up to Guest and checked on him. "Guest?" she tried to wake him up. Guest then slowly opened his eyes. "Don't worry, I'm not dying" he said.

"You did it, he's gone!" Daisy reassured. "So are the shadows from the Annihilation Realm!" Jez added.

"Thank god that's over..." Guest looked up at the sky. "What about the voices, are they back?" Rose asked.

Then they suddenly heard voices in their heads. Asking if they are okay. "They're back. With Shadow gone, the askers can as us questions again!" said Matt.

"So um, what are we going to do now?" Molly asked. "I'm feeling like having pizza, does that sound good?" Bethany asked.

Guest thought for a moment, then gave out his answer...

"Yeah, that sounds good"
