Emma
I looked in the mirror, making sure every last detail was perfect. It wasn't a date, but I was hoping I'd take him home tonight. Or he'd be taking me home. One of those. Either way works for me.
I did everything to prepare. Made sure my hair was perfectly curled, made sure there were no mascara smudges. My makeup looked pretty, but not cakey, and I had the perfect dress that accentuated my features well. Matched my eyes. Showed off my curves, yet it wasn't too provocative. I shaved everywhere.
Ethan was one of my closest friends, and one day something in my mind clicked, and I realized I was in too deep to just be friends with him. I still haven't told him how I feel, but let's just say I bought this dress in hopes that he'll be the one unzipping it tonight.
I walked into the kitchen, where Olivia was snacking on a bowl of grapes. "Holy shit, Em. If he doesn't jump the shit out of your bones tonight, the only explanation will be that he's gay."
I laughed. "I'm hoping something will happen tonight. I mean, I've felt this way for awhile now."
Olivia ate another grape. "Yeah. I think you guys have chemistry. It could totally happen."
"Wish me luck?"
"Good luck, Em." She said. "Have fun, but not too much fun, okay?"
I looked back as I walked towards the door, nodding at Olivia. "Okay. See you later."
I walked out of the house and to my car, ready for the night to begin.
Ethan and I were "hanging out" for the night. Yes we're best friends, but we haven't hung out just the two of us in a while. Usually we hang out in a small group, or Olivia hangs out with us too. I knew tonight was gonna be different. It wasn't officially a date, but it totally was a date.
I drove to Ethan's house, then I knocked on the door, my heart beating a million miles a minute. Tonight could finally be that night.
"Hey, you—" Ethan interrupted himself when he saw my dress. "Damn." He whispered. "Emma—holy shit. You look great."
I smiled. He cleaned up too. Black button down shirt, black dress slacks and his hair freshly cut.
"Not to bad yourself, Dolan." I said, gently shoving him so that I had room to walk past him.
He shut the door behind me as I walked in. "So, do you wanna get dinner, or we could eat here? Or we could get drinks? Whatever you want."
I turned around, smiling at him. "Relax, Ethan. Why are you so nervous all of the sudden?"
"You just—you look different. I don't know."
"Why don't we go to dinner? That sounds nice."
It's soooooo happening tonight.
Ethan cleared his throat. "Okay. Let's go."

Holy fuck. Emma looked insanely hot. I was attracted to her before, but damn if she didn't want to be more than friends.
I took her to a fancy steakhouse, and let's just say we both knew where we were going next.
As I was driving us back to my place, Emma placed her hand on my knee. It took everything in me not to pull the car over and take her right then and there, but I stayed cool about it. We were only ten minutes away from my house anyway.
It was until her hand started sneaking higher that the blood started rushing to a specific place.
"Emma, I'm gonna have to pull over if you keep—"
"Shhh. Either shut up and keep driving, or pull over and take me right here."
"No. If we're doing this, I want you in a bed." Emma laughed, moving her hand even higher and palming me through my pants. "Fuck, Emma." I said.
Luckily, about two minutes later we finally pulled into my driveway.
As soon as we got into the door, Emma's lips were trapped under mine, and she was against the door. "Ethan, I can't take it anymore. Please, just please. I need you."
"Right here?" I asked, pushing her dress up as I kissed her neck.
"Right here."
"Works for me." I said, my lips landing on her neck again. She tasted so good, and I loved the feeling of her body in my hands. That wasn't the only thing I cared about though. I've wanted her for a while. And it goes deeper than just sex.
Emma had my pants pooling around my feet within seconds, and a minute later I was already rolling on a condom.
"Ethan, take my dress off." She whispered.
"First I wanna fuck you in it, so you'll think about it every time you wear it."
"You know," she whispered, "I bought this dress so you'd take it off."
"Just wait about twenty minutes. Then you'll be naked." I said, finally thrusting into her.
She leaned her head against the door as I ruthlessly pounded into her over and over again.
Everything about it was way better than I ever could've imagined. The way her breathing matched with mine. The way she said my name over and over again, and simply how she felt around me.
On the couch, then the floor, and finally my bed. Twice. Emma and I kept going all night.
It was when we finally collapsed onto the bed, sweaty and catching our breaths when Emma surprised me with what she said next.
"Damn, I've been wanting that for a while."
"You have?" I asked.
She looked at me and smiled. "Mmhmm. And it was better than I dreamed of."
"You dreamed about us?"
"All the time." She admitted. My heart warmed.
"Me too. Maybe we should go out again?"
"I would love that." Emma said.
"By the way, you should wear that dress more often. Wowza."
"I will if it means we can do what we just did again."
"Oh, they'll be plenty more where that came from." I said. "Trust me. I think I'm ruined for other people."
Emma smiled again. "Me too."
And that's how Emma and I became more than friends after one night together.
Now we've been together for ten years, and let me tell you that even after three kids, two houses and one hell of a Vegas wedding, she still wears that dress on the occasion.
