"Have you seen her before?" I asked Grayson as I pointed out a girl who was standing across the hallway from us.

I was certain that I had never seen her before, but Grayson always knew who people were. He paid attention like that.

"I don't think so. Maybe she's new."

"She's hot," I said, shutting my locker. Grayson rolled his eyes. Of course he rolled his eyes. He's known around here to be the 'smoother' twin when it comes to girls.

He's had a few girlfriends while I've had much more than a few random hookups.

Her name is always forgotten the next day.

The girl was standing at her locker while Olivia Rouyre and Tessa Harrison talked to her. They seemed like they already knew each other, so I knew this girl was either going to be super popular, or they wanted something from her. Either way she was hot.

Grayson and I walked down the hallway towards our shared first hour, and I took a second to give the girl a wink and a once-over before I moved on.

I was almost surprised when she didn't smile at me. She just kinda stared at me until I looked away.

Stubborn. I like it.

"I bet I could get her to sleep with me," I told Grayson. He scoffed.

"You are such an idiot."

"Who's that guy that keeps looking over here?" I asked Olivia.

Olivia was one of my best friends, and this was my first year at the same school as her. We were seniors, and this was my only year at her school.

She glanced behind us. "That's Ethan Dolan."

"I'd stay away from him," Tessa said. "He gets his way with practically every girl in school."

Ah. One of those. Every school has them.

A few minutes went by, and I noticed him look at me a few times before him and his brother walked by. He looked me up and down, and then winked at me before they walked off.

I made up my mind.

Ethan wasn't the type of guy I'd usually go for, but I was gonna give him what he deserved. If he plays around with girls like Tessa claimed, I was gonna play him like a violin without him realizing it.

"I bet I could make him fall in love with me," I said. "He'll get exactly what he deserves."
