3rd person

Seungmin was sitting in his  fourth class, starring out of the window. He couldn't focus. All he could do was to think about the boy he met yesterday. He was supposed to be today in class but he wasn't. Maybe he got sick...or maybe he doesn't want to got to school... Seungmin didn't know. All he knew was that he really wanted to get to know him. Somehow just by thinking of him, Seungmin has to smile. Even though he was quite rude it was nothing compared to the things he had to go through in middle school.

He feels quite lonely. Yes, he has Felix but he  currently lives  in Australia. He doesn't have anyone else because....well, no one wants to be friends with him or maybe because he's just different. That's what he believes. It has been always hard for him to find a place in his class. The bullying didn't make it better in any way. Neither did the transferring.

" You're dismissed" said the teacher.

The bell rang and most of the students hurried out of the classroom. Break started.

The brown haired boy packed his things and headed out. He went outside the building since he didn't like crowded places like the cafeteria. As he stepped out of the building, a warm light touched his cheeks. He closed for a second his eyes while he enjoyed the bright sun rays  which were shining on his face. He fluttered them open, walking to the campus.

Seungmin turned around the corner and then he saw him. Hyunjin. Sitting on a bench alone, smoking a cigarette. A smile played on the Youngers lips as he approached the raven haired boy.

To be honest, Seungmin didn't like the smell of cigarettes but somehow it felt like...as if his feet would pull him to the other boy...as if the boy was what his heart asked for...no, it couldn't be, right?

Hyunjin seemed to be spacing out that's why he didn't notice Seungmin who was sitting by now next to him. Then, he recognized him.

He rolled his eyes and let out an annoyed sigh.

"You really don't know what 'leave me alone' means, now do you?" spoke the older while he extinguished his cigarette, avoiding  eye contact.

"U-uh ... I-I ... j..just-"

"Gosh, can't you just talk normally?" said Hyunjin, turning his head to the younger.

Seungmin quickly looked down on his lap, playing with his fingers. He felt so nervous around him...as if he had a lump in his throat...he wanted so badly to talk with him but he knew he couldn't...because Hyunjin would only mock him if he tried to. But he still tried his best...

"Mind your own business...I have no time for this" sighed Hyunjin and grabbed his back, ready to leave.

"Wait!" Seungmin stood up, ready to stop Hyunjin from leaving.

"What?" Hyunjin turned around. His cold stare piercing through Seungmins soul.

"D-do you ... do you want to walk home w..with me after school...?" he stuttered, his eyes filled with hope.

A sarcastic smile was formed on the letters lips.

"With you? Never." said Hyunjin and started to walk away.

"B..But maybe we could-"

"Just f#ck off"

Sadness filled the Youngers eyes. All he wanted to have was another friend....yet, no one had any interest in him.

"Maybe he needs some time..."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He was walking through the crowded streets of the city. People were laughing, chatting, holding hands, having dinner and small conversations while he couldn't even stand the sight of  people hugging each other. He just couldn't understand it... maybe he doesn't even want to...

Hyunjin was heading to the roof of an old building. It was odd, kinda dirty and destroyed. Some of the windows were shattered, glass pieces lying on the floor, the stairs squeaking and the floor covered with dirty footprints.

"A renovation would definitely not hurt..." he thought while he went upstairs.

He stepped outside, a fresh breeze hitting his face again.

"There you are!"

"Took you a bit longer today than usually"

Changbin. Minho. His Friends.

"Sorry, had to discuss something with my teacher" he excused himself. He sat down on an old rotten chair, next to Minho.

"Skipping classes again?" asked Minho, smiling at the boy.

"Naaahh"

Changbin raised his eyebrows, a judgemental expression on his face. He could clearly see if his friend was lying. He knows Hyunjin for too long.

"Okay fine, only todays first three classes" he sighed, pulling out a cigarette.

"Playing the bad boy again?" teased Changbin.

"Tsk. Whatever shortie"

"Yah! It's Hyung for you!"

"You're only a few months older!"

"God, you're so childish" chuckled Minho, "anyways, how was school today?"

"Just like always"

"You always say that. Now c'mon, tell us moree" whined one of his friends.

"Just like I said. Nothing special."

"You're lyyinggg"

"No, I'm not." snapped Hyunjin. He was annoyed of Changbins behaviour.

Minho and Changbin exchanged glances. Something was up...

"I didn't mean to. Just had a bad day, that's it" he sighed after he had realized what he had done.

He looked at the sky, colored in orange, purple and pink. Neither of them said anything. They just watched the sunset.

"Oh Hyunjin... if you just knew how much distant you sometimes are" spoke Minho quietly.

Distant?
