Monday 💜

3rd person

Seungmin sighed.

His grandmother was lying in bed, not feeling well.

"Ma, you should go and see a doctor. You might have fever and high blood pressure"

"No honey, I'm fine. I'll take some pain killers and it'll be fine..."

"No grandma, please...I'm being serious right now" said Seungmin concerned. He clearly was. She wasn't feeling well since this morning. well, she wasn't feeling well the whole week.

"Dear, you should go to school or else you'll be late..." she said.

"Bur grandm-"

"No uh! Go! And greet Hyunjin from me"

"Fine...but please watch out! If something is call me because I'm gonna hang out with him after school" said her grandson, convinced that everything's going to be alright.

"I'll dear" she smiled weakly.

He leaned in to peck her cheek and grabbed his things to head to school.

The door closed as eh left. She was still smiling.

She loved him so much.

More than anything.

Just the way she loved her daughter.

She'd give everything to have more time to spend with him.

But she didn't know if the doctors could give her more time.

If life would give her more time.

But she doesn't think so.

It was too late.

And she felt bad for lying to him.

But she didn't want to see him sad.

She wants him to be happy before she leaves.

Because she knew he won't be alone.

He had Hyunjin.

She believes he has a good heart.

She was convinced that he would take care of the younger.

Because she was aware that the thing between them couldn't be friendship.

She wants Seungmin to be happy.

To find his happiness.

That's what counts.

Break

Seungmin left the classroom, a big smile on his lips, just like always. He was excited to spend the day with the latter. There he was.

This time leaning on the locker, alone.

No Soomin and her friends.

"Jinnie!" he called happily.

"Hey there" greeted Hyunjin, ruffling Seungmin hair.

"Not again...stupid heart"

Seungmin let out a giggle and together they went to the campus where they sat down on a bench behind a big tree.  No one was sitting there except for the people who were different and lonely. That's what the rest of them say. Yes, Seungmin wasn't the only one who was lonely at this school but in contrast to the others who wanted to be alone, he tried his best to find someone...to not to be lonely.
