HIs eyes teared up again just by seeing her like that.

He ran to her, falling onto his knees beside her bed, hugging her tightly around her stomach. He was careful, not trying to cause any more pain to her.

"Ma! Please don't tell me you're leaving..." he cried.

She smiled weakly, going through he grandsons hair.

It seems it's the last time.

"I'm not leaving..." she said quietly.

Seungmin looked up, sniffling with his nose.

"You are...." 

"I'll never leave you dear..." 

Seungmin knew what she meant.

"But it's not the same! You can't leave me Grandma...not yet....there is still so much that I had wanted to do with you...remember we wanted to go to the flower field again when you're feeling better again...a-and we wanted to make s-some k-kimchi together just like al-ways...and we wanted to go to jeju Island! A-and we wanted to have Christmas dinner together and to visit Jeongja a-again....remember?" he said with a forced smile.

"Seungmin-"

"Ma, don't go...please don't go....don't leave me...what am I supposed to do without you? J-just don't..." he stuttered before breaking down into tears.

No, he clearly didn't want to let go of her.

"Seungmin dear...look at me..." 

Seungmin refused to look up, that's why she pulled his head up.

"You'll never be alone...and I'll never leave you...I'll always be there for you...I'll always listen to you...but you have to let me go..." she said, he eyes tearing up as well. "Because if you're not letting me go...I can't find my freedom, dear"

"Ma..."

"You're so young...so, so young... you still have a whole life in front of you...grieving about me won't make anything better.
