Thursday 💜

3rd person

Hyunjin finished his cigarette, entering the school. He was tired because he hung out yesterday at Minhos for a quite long time and believe it or not...he had to finish his homework. He wasn't in the mood for anything the only thing he could think about right now was his bed...his warm and comfy bed. But no, he has to wait a little longer before he can go home since he has to spend time with him. Seungmin.

He just groaned at the thought of it. He didn't want to....but otherwise the boy isn't going to stay away from him. He entered his class to see Seungmin already there, a big smile on his lips as always. 

"Hyung!" called Seungmin and waved his hand.

"Oh god....just a week Hyunjin, you got this... don't flip out..."

"Hi" he said cold, trying his best to ignore the others students mumblings.

"So what are we gonna do today?" said the younger boy joyfully.

"I don't ca-...know"

"Hmmm fine, how about the park? Today's good weather! What do you think?"

Hyunjin rolled his eyes and packed out his things.

"Yes" he said quietly.

"What?"

" Are you deaf or what? I said Yes!" snapped Hyunjin.

"O..okay...so after we worked on the project right?"  

Hyunjin nodded, never being this happy to see a teacher starting class.

Seungmin got a bit startled but he kinda was used to Hyunjins attitude. Yes, he could be scary but to be honest, he believed there was a different side of Hyunjin. A nicer one...and he wanted to find it. So he just shrugged it off, paying attention to the teacher.

Break

The bell rang and students hurried out of their classrooms, so did Seungmin. He was eager to see the latter and to spend time in break with him. No one had ever spend the break with him...

"Hyung!" he called happily and ran towards Hyunjin who was in a conversation with.....

Soomin.

And her friends.

Seungmin stopped running, his smile disappearing.

Hyunjin turned for a second around, giving him a deathly glare.

"Why does it feel as if my heart would break into pieces? Hyunjin promised me to spend time with me....was he lying? Did he fool me? No, I trust him. Trust is important.... They're probably just friends so why am I even thinking like that...."

His smile appeared again, continuing to run to his Hyung.

"Hyung!" 

Seungmin clinged on Hyunjins arm, giggling cutely. 

"YAH!" Hyunjin immediatley backed off, pushing Seungmin away. Soomin just stood there with a blank face expression. But Seungmin could see that she tried to hide the expression of disgust in her face. Most of them did it...

"Hyung!"

"First of all, I'm not your Hyung, don't ever call me like that!" he said. 

"B-but...you promised to spend time with me..." pouted the younger.

"What? Since when?" Hyunjin laughed nervously.

"Since-"

"Not yet."

"But-"

"I said NOT YET" he raised his voice. Seungmin knew he couldn't protest.

"U-um okay...sorry...I didn't mean to disturb you...I'll leave" he smiled. 

It hurt....really badly. He was so excited but...he started to leave, heading outside and sat down on a bench. He saw most of the students smiling, laughing, interacting. He wanted to do it too...but no one gives him a chance. And every time he tried to do something about it, he would only get hurt. He just wanted someone...he didn't want to be alone at school. He couldn't help but let a few tears fall.

He didn't blame Hyunjin... he blamed himself for being the way he is....and once again he embarrassed and bothered Hyunjin.

Hyunjin hates the library. 

But it is the only place where no one would pay so much attention to them. Seungmin was sitting opposite to him, taking some notes. He knew he had cried...it was just too obvious....his eyes were so glassy that you could even see yourself in them...but Hyunjin didn't know how to feel about it...yes,  he was being harsh again but the younger just shouldn't have-

"Will you still go to the p..park w..with me?" he whispered.

Hyunjin looked at him but the younger was avoiding his eyes. He had embarrassed him in front of Soomin and her friends. He almost ruined his reputation...

"I-I am really sorry...I was just s...so excited-"

"It's okay" blurted the latter out.

"What the-Why did I-"

"T..thank you"
