3rd person

Clouds.

They hide the sky like some people their feelings.

Sometimes they would go away, letting the sun shine and expose everything.

Sometimes they would just stay, hiding everything that's behind them.

After they had worked on their project both of them headed to the park. Seungmin was the whole way talking about things Hyunjin wasn't even interested in...but he'd just nod and pretend that he would listen. He just wanted to go home. He wanted to go to bed.

Seungmin on the other side was enjoying it...no one has ever listened to him this much and it made him so happy. It made him feel...as if he wouldn't be alone. A beautiful feeling.

"And you?" asked Seungmin.

"Uh..what was the question again?"

"What movie do you like?"

"Don't know...I don't really watch...them" said the latter as they had reached the park.

The park was quite empty, only a few people were there. Well of course, it was Thursday. On weekends there is definitely more going on. The trees were changing their colors...from a beautiful green into a shade of sunshine yellow or a shade of golden brown, sometimes even orange or red. Seungmin loves autumn. It isn't always cold.... at the beginning of it, it could still be sometimes warm.

Then, Seungmin spotted a playground.

"Hyun(g)-jin! Let's go there!" suggested Seungmin who was about to run towards it but something held hime back. Hyunjin.

"No"

"B-but-"

"My god, are you a child or what? Just behave like every other normal person and not like a 4 year old boy who has never been to a playground before!"

"O...okay"

Silence.

Seungmin felt embarrassed. He should've known Hyunjin wouldn't go there with him. He only wanted to swing a bit.

"U..um...can we t-take some p..pictures?" asked Seungmin shyly.

"No."

"Maybe-"

"No."

Silence.

They sat down on a bench, watching the people pass by. Hyunjin didn't even say anything. He just sat there, feeling bored. He quickly glanced at the younger who was looking on his lap, playing with the hem of his sweater.

Seungmin didn't know what was wrong with him. He suddenly felt so sad...he wanted to make beautiful memories with the latter not some like...this. He tried hard not to cry. He knew he was a crybaby..that's what they called him.

"C-can we at least..eat some ice cream?" he asked quietly.

"In Autumn...seriously? You had a whole summer to do it..." laughed Hyunjin sarcastically.

"B-but-"

"No, not again...don't let them fall.."

" I w...wanted to e..eat it w-with y..you"

They were falling.

Heavily.

Tears.

Seungmin tried to wipe them away with his sleeves but they just wouldn't stop. Once again he felt embarrassed...he was just too sensitive. He wiped them and wiped them till his sleeves were almost soaked.

Hyunjin was overwhelmed. He didn't know what to do...the younger just had just started to cry and he...just didn't know.

"W-why a...re you s...so mean to m-me?" he sobbed.

"I-uh..."

"Why d..do you h-hate me s..so much?"

"Why do you even care?"

"Because I like-"

Realizing what he had said, Hyunjin started to panic a bit.

"I didn't mean to....Yah! Stop crying....!"

"He didn't mean to?" thought Seungmin

Hyunjin pulled out a tissue, giving it to Seungmin. The boy took it, hands shaking as he tried to wipe them away.

The raven haired let out a sigh.

"Come here"

He took the tissue, turning Seungmins head to him by his chin and started to wipe off the tears. Seungmin hiccuped quietly, avoiding eye contact. He couldn't look him in the eyes...he felt shame. Slowly, his tears stopped and Hyunjin wiped the last one away.

His cheeks were flushed, his nose red, lips bitten and eyes still teary. Then he looked up.

Pang.

Guilty hit Hyunjin.

"I'll get us some uh..ice cream" excused Hyunjin himself.

Seungmin just sat there, thinking about a specific sentence.

"I didn't mean to...."

He felt a bit happy.

"Was it an apology....Yes, kinda right? If it is, I will forgive him."

Soon enough Hyunjin came back with the ice cream. They slowly started to talk but this time, Hyunjin truly listened and would sometimes even talk as well. He didn't want to see the younger cry. He felt bad....but he tried to make the best out of the day.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

They were on they way home.

"Thank you for today" said Seungmin, smiling slightly.

"How can you thank me? I made you cry..."

"Yeah. See you then..." bid Hyunjin goodbye.

"Bye"

Seungmin was lying on his bed, thinking about the day. Outside it was raining heavily, rain drops decorating his window.

Yes, he felt somehow happy.

He believed he had gotten closer to Hyunjin.

"I didn't mean to"
