It was cold outside. You could clearly feel that Autumn has started.
They were heading to a cafe Hyunjin had suggested earlier.
Seungmins heart was beating like crazy. He couldn't figure out his feeling but maybe...he felt even more than friendship...again, he was desperate for his love.
That's what he felt.
That's what his heart asks for.
Safeness.
Happiness.
Love.
He knew that he must be asking for too much. But he couldn't deny it. He didn't want to.
Smoke hit his face. Hyunjin was smoking again. He didn't like it.
"Why are you smoking?" asked Seungmin.
Hyunjin rolled his eyes at this question.
"It's none of his business..."
"None of your business" he said coldly.
"But-"
"I just do, okay?" he snapped.
"It's not good for your health..."
"I know it...I'm not stupid. I enjoy it, so drop the topic..."
"Hyun-"
"Goodness, just leave it. No one cares anyways..."
"I do"
Hyunjin eyes met Seungmin, a sadness hiding behind his eyes. He was about to comment something mean on it but somehow he couldn't. Maybe because no one had ever said something like that to him. Actually, Minho did back then...but hearing it out of the Youngers mouth made Hyunjin feel....different....weird...he couldn't figure it out why. It was just a new feeling. Something he had never experienced before.
"y-yeah" stuttered the older. "There's t...the cafe"
A beautiful smile cracked Seungmins lips as they entered the cafe and a blush creeped up his cheeks as he remembered how Hyunjin had been starring at him. It made his heart flutter.
"What do you want to order?" asked the raven haired.
" A strawberry cake!"
"What else?"
"Um... I don't know...I guess a hot chocolate"
Hyunjin nodded and ordered for both of them. Seungmin tried to hold back his excitement and happiness. His grandmother never allows him to eat a lot of sweets, they basically never have any.
They took a seat in a corner next to the window while waiting for their order. It didn't take long till it arrived.
Seungmin smiled cutely as he ate the his cake, cheeks stuffed with it while he munched on it happily.
"It's so good!" he said as he took more bites.
Hyunjin was just sitting there, stunned of the other boys behavior as if he had never eaten a cake.
"Eat slower kid or else you're gonna choke"
Seungmin looked at him, a pout forming on his lips.
"Cute"
"Have you never eaten a cake in your life or what?" asked Hyunjin as he drank his americano.
"I did but my grandmother never allowed me to eat a lot of sweets. She always watches out that I eat a lot of vegetables and so on...at first I kind of protested but later on... I got used not to eat a lot of sweets"
"His grandmother?"
"You live with your grandmother?" asked Hyunjin curiously.
"Yeah since I am 6 years old because-"
Hyunjins phone rang.
"Gonna take it" he excused himself.
"Should I tell him? I don't want him to pity me..." thought Seungmin.
"No, I'm not gonna come to the party. I've got something else to do"
"Party?"
"Yeah, yeah. Have fun...okay...bye" he ended the call.
then, Seungmin remembered something.
"Um... besides that....d...do you want to hang out at mine t...tomorow?" he asked nervously.
"Okay" agreed the latter.
"Yay!" cheered Seungmin.
"Yah, calm down!"
"Okay, finee" chuckled the puppy-like boy. "Oh! You have there something!"
"What?"
"Wait a second" Seungmin took his tissue and leaned over the table. He wiped some the whipping cream off the latters lip away.
Hyunjins cheeks heated up.
"Now, you look fine" said the younger happily.
"U-uh...yes"
"Jinnie! Your ears!" giggled Seungmin "They're so red!"
His heart started to go crazy. His beautiful laugh ...and then he even realized that he had cracked a smile for Seungmin
"Jinnie...he called me 'Jinnie'..."
The younger was still giggling a bit and he grabbed his hot chocolate with his cute sweater paws.
Hyunjin felt like dying.
Dying out of the boys cuteness.
He tried to deny it.
But he couldn't.
"It was worth it not to go to the party..."

Hyunjin was on his way home. He had to admit that today was a good day. And he rarely had good days. His heart was still skipping beats like never before and he was fighting against his heart. He didn't want to accept it. This new feeling....he was scared of it. Yet, it was extremely hard to do anything against it. The boy was stuck in his head...
...with his beautiful smile and laugh, his shyness...the way he cares about him.
Just what kind of feeling is it?
He showered. Hot water was dripping down his body as he entered his bedroom to get ready for bed.
He laid down on his bed, unable to sleep.
"Jinnie....Jinnie...he called me 'Jinnie' "
