Phillips pov

I sat up and ruffled is my long curly brown hair. I the stood up and grabbed a pair of Jeans from my old dark oak dresser. As I walked to my closet a floor board let out a long squek. As I continued to the closet I muttered to myself,

"I need to fix that board".

I then grabbed a light blue shirt and headed downstairs after brushing my teeth and fixing my hair. I went downstairs and went straight to the kitchen. There my younger sister Angie sat, next turn her was my younger brother Will. Will was giggling well Angie made silly faces at him. I sat down across from them and grabbed a apple from the bowl on the table. Just the Eliza, my mother entered.

"Good morning Phillip"! She said enthusasticly. "Morning mom." I replyed with a grown. "Looks like we got a sleepy head." Angie said. "You seem tired when did you go to bed Phillip?" Eliza asked well cracking eggs into a grey pan. "Around 3, I was studying for my math test next week, I got to get a A if I want to get into kings like my dad." I said.

The family sat their in silence till a whole pile of kids ran in I had 6 siblings all younger then me. It wasn't easy being the oldest, I had to take care of his siblings often but I  didn't mind I loved kids. My brother John sat down and Eliza placed some scrambled eggs on his plate. John rushed to shove the yellow eggs into his small mouth. I stood up and grabbed my bag Angie at his side, we waved by to their mother then stumbled down the steps to the bright yellow school bus.

When we arrived at school Theo stood their waiting for them, Theo always beat them to schools her dad was extremely overprotective over Theo since her mom died. "Hey Theo!"  I called to her as he gave a little wave to her. Angie ran to Theo and gave her a big hug "I missed you bestie!" She said excitedly. "It's only been two days silly since I last saw you." Theo responded with a smile.

Angie then start blabbing to Theo about her weekend but I wasn't listening I watched as the sun made Theo's dark brown skin glisten, her long dark brown curls fell over her shoulder and bounced as she talked and walked down the halls. Me and Theo had only been friends for 3 years but Phillip felt like he knew her his whole life, they told each other everything. I remembered my father's anger when I told him that I wanted to be friends with Theo his sworn enemy's daughter. I pushed the thought of my angry father away and raced to catch up with Theo and his sister. The bell rang as a caught up behind them Theo looked as if she just snapped out of a deep thought, I wonder what she was thinking about.
