Theo's pov

I woke up to Phillip gently rubbing my back I stired as I slowly woke up, I saw my father and Phillips mother standing behind the couch. "Eliza, father whats going on?" I asked stumbling to my feet and giving ,y eyes a little rub as if that would make my exhustion go away. "Phillip you and Theo fell asleep." My father told me and Phillip, I stood there in shock. "Wait how long have we been asleep for?" Phillip asked as he looked at his mother for a answer. Phillips mother laughed and then said "Phillip you two have been asleep all night, it's Monday now." Monday, oh no I forgot that we had school the day after the dance. "Come on guys you have to get ready for school." My father told me grabbing my hand and pulling me close to him. "We have school." I said as I tried to shake of my exhaustion, I just wanted to go back to sleep. "Yes." Both are parents told us in unison. I watched as Phillip left and then I went upstairs and got ready for school, I had to hurry though school started in 30 minutes and my dad would kill me if we were late. As I got changed I couldn't stop thinking about how he didn't wake us up and kick Phillip out last night, I just couldn't believe he could be warming up to a Hamilton.

I hopped in the car and buckled my seatbelt, as my dad pulled out of my driveway I asked him "Dad why didn't you wake me and Phillip last night?" "Well Theo it's just you looked so cute together and so peaceful." He replied I could see him smile, I think he was actually starting to like Phillip. "Thanks dad." I told him. "It's no problem sweetie, as long as your happy I'm happy." As he said that I felt a flood of tears appear in my red, tired eyes, he used to tell my mother that. As we pulled into the parking lot I pushed my tears away, along with the image of my mother on her death bed I couldn't bare to remember her lifeless face for one more second. I stepped out of the car and waved goodbye to my dad I walked towards the spot where the bus dropped off the kids. Phillip stood there, he looked panicked "Hey Phillip, hi Angie!" I called to them. Phillip turned to me and his look of panic disappeared. "Hi Theo, come on tell me all about last night." Angie told me dragging me towards the schools big silver doors. "Ok, what do you want to know?" I asked my bestie. "Well first off did you kiss Phillip?" She asked me as she looked straight in my eyes, I felt my face blush brighter then a cherry tomato. "Yes." I replied quietly. "OMG you did, what was it like? Is my brother a good kisser?" She asked me very excited. "Well it was the most magical experience and your brother is a amazing kisser." I explained to her. "That sounds so cool." She told me, she seemed very amused. The bell rang and we all had to rush off to our classes.

I arrived at English class and took my seat Mrs. Smith walked towards the chalkboard and adressed the class, "Ok kids take out your essays I'll be collecting them so I can mark them." I grabbed my essay out of my backpack and handed it to her. I looked back at Jackson he seemed incredible nervous, "Hey you good Jackson?" I asked him spinning my chair around so we could talk face to face. "Oh Theo, yeah I'm just nervous." He told me his voice was shaky. "Why you so scared Jackson I'm sure you did fine." I tried to tell him in a comforting voice. "I know it's just my dad said if I didn't get a A I'd be grounded for a month." He looked down at his feet as he talked. "Why would he do that? I asked Jackson I felt so bad for him. "He thinks I focus on football to much." He told me, I agreed that he did spend to much time on football but it made him happy. "Jackson you are super smart I'm sure you'll get a A." I told him right before the bell rang and I had to race off to my next class.

After some other classes it was finally lunch, I walked to my locker and popped off my lock. I pulled my light grey and charcoal lunch bag and then closed my locker up before headed to the cafeteria. I went straight to our usual table and that's when I noticed Phillip was with a girl. I panicked was he cheating on me after everything did every time we kissed mean nothing to him, I couldn't believe I fell to his charm maybe he was just another player like all this other football jocks. Just then him and Sarah Madison walked over, "Hey Theo." Sarah told me as she sat down who did she think she was stealing my boyfriend and then sitting with me at lunch. "Hi Sarah, what are you doing here." I asked sarah as I put on a fake smile. "Well I asked Phillip if I could sit with you guys earlier, I hope it's not a problem I'm just tired of eating lunch alone." She explained to me, that's when I realized I had overreacted poor Sarah just wanted a friend, and I assumed she was trying to steal my boyfriend I felt horrible. "Of coarse you can sit with us Sarah." I told her as a gentle smile spread across my face I wanted to welcome her in, no one deserves to be lonely. We sat together and talked Sarah was actually a really interesting person, Phillip seemed happy that we got along, I don't think he noticed that I almost lashed out on Sarah when she first arrived. The bell rang and I had to head off to my next classes, I watched as Sarah walked towards her class smiling brighter then the sun.

After a couple more hours of school the final bell of the day rang, I walked to my dad's car. I hopped in the car right next to my dad, "Hey sweetie." My father told me. "Hi dad." I responded. "How was school?" He asked me kindly. "Good, me and Phillip hung out with a girl in my grade called Sarah Madison at lunch." I explained. "Sarah Madison is that James Madison's daughter? He asked me as he pulled out of the parking lot. "Yeah, I think so." I replied. "I heard she was really nice, her father is always talking about how much he loves her." He told me as he smiled. Just then we pulled into my driveway I hopped out of the car and headed upstairs to shower. Once I finished showering and getting into my pjs I went downstairs to eat dinner. My dad had made chicken, rice and grilled veggies for dinner, it smelled and tasted amazing just like always. After dinner we did the dishes together, and then watched some tv. I had missed the days where we just watched tv after dinner together, but nnowadays my dad was usually busy with work. I loved how recently he had been making time for me, I didn't know if he noticed I was getting older or maybe he just wanted to spend time with me before college. As I headed up to bed my dad called, "Theo don't forget to mail in your collage admission letter." I called back to him "I won't forget already got it finished I just need to mail it."
"Ok goodnight Theo." He told me. "Goodnight dad love you." I called down to him before brushing my teeth and hair. Once I was done in the bathroom I walked down the hall to my bedroom,  and nearly the second I was in bed I was fast asleep.
