Phillips pov

I woke up to my mother and Theo's father Aaron. Burr gentle tapping my shoulder. I looked down Theo was still fast asleep in my lap I gently woke her up. "Eliza, father, what's going on?" Theo asked as she rubbed her eyes. "Phillip you and Theo fell asleep." Her father told her. "Wait how long have we been asleep for?" I asked my mother. "Phillip you two have been asleep all night, it's Monday now." My mother told me as she giggled. "Come on guys you have to get ready for school." Theo's father told us. "We have school." Theo said as she stood up. "Yes." Are parents told us in unison.

I walked into my house, Angie stood there and looked straight at me and said "Where have you been?" "I was at Theo's house." I told her as I walked up are stairs. "Why were you there?" Angie asked me chasing me up the stairs. "We fell asleep on the couch okay, now I have to get ready or I'm gonna be late." I told my sister as I shut my bedroom door. I quickly got changed I was still half asleep, I was so glad I asked her out last night had been the best night of my life. I stumbled down the stairs my mother handed me my jacket and smiled. Angie and me walked to the bus and climbed inside, once we got to school I noticed Theo's bench was empty. I panicked did something happen I had only been away from her for a hour, just then I saw her walk towards me. "Hey Phillip, hi Angie." Theo told us. "Hi Theo, come on tell me all about Last night." My sister said as she dragged Theo towards the school. I walked right behind them slowly, I was so tired. I walked behind them and listened to Angie ask Theo everything about the dance. The bell rang and we all had to go to classes, I walked towards the track. My gym teacher stood by the track and said

"Ok kids today were running laps, now get running."

I raced to the track and started sprinting as fast as could, I had been a athlete since I was a child but man running laps was exhausting. I sprinted as hard as I could my heart was pounding, sweat dripped down my face, today was gonna suck I was tired and I had to gym first thing in the morning. After a couple more minutes of running I heard the bell I stopped running and quickly took some deep breaths. I looked around my classmates were all exhausted just like me, I looked over and saw Sarah Madison she looked like she was gonna pass out. "Sarah you good?" I asked as I walked over to her. "Yeah." She replied in between a cough. I watched as she grabbed out her inhaler, after a couple puffs she seemed to catch her breath. "I hate having asthma." She told me as we walked back towards the school. "Why'd you run if you knew you get out of breath." I asked her. "I got to get good grades and if I don't I'll fail gym." She told me as she placed her inhaler away. "That's horrible, I'm sorry you have to deal with that Sarah." I told Sarah as we walked in the school. "Aww thanks Phillip your the best, by the way can I sit with you at lunch." She told me as a gentle smile spread across her face. "Sure Sarah now we better hurry or were gonna be late." I told her as we rushed to get to our next class.

Once it was lunch time me and Sarah grabbed some food and then sat down next to Theo. "Hey Theo." Sarah said. "Hi Sarah, what are you doing here." Theo asked Sarah. "Well I asked Phillip if I could sit with you guys earlier, I hope it's not a problem I'm just tired of eating lunch alone." Sarah told Theo she seemed sad I'd never noticed how lonely Sarah was. "Of coarse you can sit with us Sarah." Theo says as she gave Sarah a kind and welcoming smile, it reminded me of my mother's smile Theo was gonna be a great mother some day. We sat together and ate are lunches, it was fun I'd never realized how sweet Sarah was. I could tell Theo liked her two Sarah was normally very quiet, but I liked this more talkative side of her. The bell rang and we walked to our next classes, I sat there during art nearly half asleep. I only had a couple hours of sleep and it was starting to get hard to stay awake, I was snapped out of my thoughts as a ruler slapped my desk right next to me. "Phillip Hamilton get to work." Mrs. Davey told me sternly. "Yes Mrs. Davey." I say as I nodded and started on my drawing. We had to draw realistic animals, of coarse I was drawing a fox it was going kinda well. I'd never been a good drawer but I kinda like how it was going, maybe I could give it to Theo she'd always loved cute animals. I sat there for the rest of art coloring a part of the foxes fur, I heard the bell ring and I quickly grabbed my stuff and headed to my next class.

After school I went straight upstairs, I took a quick nap and then got back to working on my fox. It was due this wedsday and I still needed to finish all the fur and both eyes, I sat there drawing for a hour switching back and forth between two shades of orange colored pencil. "Phillip come play with your siblings I need to make dinner." I skipped down the stairs, jumping the last two stairs. "Phillip play with me." My brother told me as he grabbed my pant leg and tried to drag me to the playroom. I walked in the play room to be greeted by all my younger siblings running towards me, Angie seemed realived to not have to care for them all by herself any longer. "Phillip I drew a floowey." My little sister told me as she handed me a piece of paper. "A flower." I corrected her. "Yeah floowey she said as she pointed to a pile of color colored lines. "Its beautiful." I told her as I handed her back the paper. "Angie big brother says my flower beuotoful." She told my older sister enthusiasticly. She was so cute especially how she was still learning how to pronounce her words. After a hour of playing and making sure none of my siblings snuck out and distracted my mother in the kitchen I heard my mom call,

"Kids dinners ready!"

We all rushed to the kitchen, as we entered the smell of my mom's cooking flooded my nose, the smell was immaculate the roasted potatoes and cooked chicken smelled absolutely delicious. My mom placed some food on every kids plate and then some on here plate, I looked over to where my dad used to sit when a saw the kitchen door open. My father walked and and kissed my mother on the cheek she placed some food on his plate and pulled out his chair. "Your not eating in your office today?" I asked him as he sat down. "Not today son I wanted to spend some quality time with my family." He replied as he took a bite of a potato. After a couple minutes of my whole family eating in silence my father asked me "Phillip have you planned on most at college your going to?" I finished chewing the told my father "Yeah, I'm thinking of going to kings just like you dad." This seemed to bring a smile to his face, "That's my good boy aspiring to be a politician just like his father." I put on a fake smile and looked at my mother only she knew that I wanted to be a poet. My dad new I liked poetry but he didn't know that's what I wanted to do as a career I think he would freak if he found out. After dinner I went upstairs and got ready for bed, I spent a couple minutes writing poems then collapsed in my bed and fell asleep.
