Angie's secret (part 3)

Angies pov

I woke up and quickly got ready I pulled on a pair of Jeans and a light pink t-shirt. I brushed my hair and teeth I went downstairs to find my brother eating a waffle, I sat down next to him. "Hi Phillip you excited to graduate." I asked him. "I'm so excited I've been waiting for 4 years."he told me as he took a bite of his waffle. We walked to the bus I sat there nervous I don't think he noticed my excess foot tapping, I was meeting up with my girlfriend Molly. None of my family know Im a lesbian and I don't plan on telling them, I'm just gonna run away with Molly once were old enough.

Flashback

We met a month ago she was a hew student in my English class, it was a normal day but then she walked in and my boom. She sat down next to me her dirty blonde hair falling around her shoulders, "Hi I'm Molly." She said her voice was sweet like sugar. "In Angelica but everyone calls me Angie." I told her my heart was pounding in my chest her lips looked so soft like velvet. "It's nice to meet you Angie." She said her voice made my heart feel like it was exploding. "It's nice to meet you too want me to be your guide today." I asked her. "That would be so sweet of you Angie." She told me as she pushed a strand of her hair behind her ear.

We sat together in all our classes till it was finally lunch time, we sat together at a table in the corner. "Do you sit alone? "Molly asked me as she took a sip of her milk. "yea I don't have many friends." I told her. "Aww I'm sorry." She replied. "It's fine I don't mind." I told her I didn't want her to fell sorry for me. "Can I ask you a question?" She asked me she seemed nervous. "Sure." I tell her as I take a bite of my pudding. "Do you listen to girl in red?" I knew what that meant she was asking if I was gay, I didn't know what to tell her should I lie of tell the truth. Truth tell her the truth "yeah, her music's the best." I say trying to call myself before I have a panic attack. "Really me too, I love her music." Molly said as she smiled. Wait what if she was a lesbian too, maybe we could be more then friends, calm down Angie you just met her I thought to myself. We spent the next week together, it was the best week of my life. At the end of the week we were talking before school behind the bleachers like we did ever morning. She looked at me she seemed terrified, "Theo will you go out with me." She asked glancing down at her light purple sneakers. "Yes." I replied as I kissed her. It was just as amazing as I thought it would be her lips were smooth and soft, her hair felt like silk, her warm hand on my cheek made my heart flutter faster then a humming birds wings. The bell rang and we raced off to our classes, I didn't care if I was late I was with my girlfriend and I just had my first kiss.

Back to The future

I walked off the bus I was about head to the bleachers when my brother asked, "Where you going Angie?" I freaked what do I say I can't tell him I have a girlfriend hed tell mom, who'd tell dad and dad would kill man, or worse kick me out. "Umm I just got to meet up with a friend?" I told him hoping he'd believe me I'd never been a good liar so I ran towards the bleachers before he could ask me anymore questions. Me and Molly spent the whole day together just like always. After school I skipped the bus I knew Phillip was mailing his letter today with Theo so he wouldn't be on the bus to notice I'm missing. We ran off into the forest, she showed me her favorite spot up on a hill it had light blue tulips all around the edge. "I planted those." She said as she pointed towards the tulips. "There so pretty, just like you." I told her before kissing her light pink lips. We layed there in the sun talking about everything she was lucky her dad was very accepting of her being a lesbian. I was the perfect kid in my family straight hair, straight A's I just wasn't straight. We layed there for what felt like hours her hand in mine, we braided each others hair and told jokes, I felt like I was dreaming ever moment with her was precious. Molly and me decided to have a sleepover all I had to do was sneak her into my house, we got to my house and I opened the door as quietly as possible and we ran up the stairs.

We did it at least that's what I thought until my door burst open, their stood Phillip he stood there shocked I didn't know what to do. "Angie where have you been and who's this? He asked me sternly I knew he meant business my brother never yelled at me. "This is just my friend Molly Brown." I told him I knew he didn't believe me I was framing out now, I was gonna get kicked out at least mom and dad weren't here. "Why is she here, and why are you out so late mom and dad where worried sick." He told me, i was scared I hated when people yelled at me. "We were just, just." What do I say, what do I say. Thats when Molly said "You haven't told then Angie." I forgot poor Molly didn't know I was still in the closet "What haven't you told me ANGIE!" My brother screamed at me that's when my mom and dad ran in, my dad hugged me so tight I could barley breath. "Who's this?" My mother asked. "Mom, dad I have to tell you something." I knew their was no point in lying I had to tell them the truth, ok you can do this Angie just tell them you like girls. "I'm a lesbian, and this is my girlfriend Molly." I said, I was crying now I was ready for my dad to kick me out I wondered if Molly would let me live with her. "Aww Angie, why didn't you tell us you know will always accept you." My mom told me I looked up at her eyes, did she really accept me was I gonna get to stay. I felt Molly place her arms around me I felt more at ease almost immediately. "it will be ok, shush don't cry I'm here" Molly said as she rubbed my back. "I should have told you but I was scared you'd abandon me." I tried to explain through my sobs. "We would never abandon you." My father told me as he pulled me into his arms, they accepted me I wasn't gonna have to leave my family. "it's nice to meet you Mr and Mrs Hamilton, I'm Molly Brown." Molly said she seemed to be handling this whole chaotic situation incrediable well. It's nice to meet you too Molly." My mom told her very politely. "Wanna stay for dinner?" My mom asked Molly. "Sure." Molly replied. We went downstairs together I brushed away my tears, Molly grabbed my hand and smiled at me.

We ate dinner and then I walked Molly home, "congrats on coming out." She told me as we walked. "Thanks Molly, I was really scared they wouldn't accept me." I told her as we walked up her driveway. "That's how I felt when I came out to my dad." She told me as she kissed me on the cheek before dissapering behind her door. I walked home and luckily got home before it started raining, my mom was in the kitchen. "Mom?" I said as I helped her place the dishes in the sink. "Yes Angie." She says as she turned the tap on. "Will you still love me if I marry a girl?" I realized after I said it how quiet I'd asked that, my voice always got quieter when I got nervous. "Angie ill love you no matter what." I was happy my mother was so accepting she hugged me and then I went upstairs to bed.
