Master of Death

Chapter 23

Hadrian went to ministry to meet Lucius.
Hadrian: "Hello Mr. Malfoy"
Lucius looked up from desk: "Hadrian. What are you doing here?"
Hadrian: "Lucius your master is back."
Lucius got shocked but in couple of seconds he composed his neutral mask: "What master are you talking about?"
Hadrian: "If we stop playing things, we can come to main point."
Lucius: "ok how do you know it? I noticed my mark darken yesterday only."
Hadrian with smug face: "Because I bring him back. Although he doesn't know about it"
Lucius shouted: "You did what?"
Hadrian with icy cold eyes: "Don't you dare raise voice on me. I don't require wand to finish you off. I am being civil for Draco's sake. Don't taste me"
In summer Lucius has learned that Hadrian is not someone to mess up. He can do things which is impossible to imagine.
Lucius with fear: "Sorry"
Hadrian: "Now that's how I like it. I am here to inform you that you will be summon soon by him, as he doesn't know how he got body back. He will ask for one thing that he gave you to secure safely."
Lucius got wide eyes when realization hit him that Hadrian is talking about diary. He Panicked.
Hadrian: "We both know what you did, so when you tell him that you will face his rage. I am here to tell you how you can save yourself from death sentence."
Lucius with pained eyes: "Why"
Hadrian: "Because Draco is dear to me. I know he loves you. So I am doing it for him just for this one time"
Lucius with pleading look: "What do you want me to do?"
Hadrian: "You are Slytherin, play with words. Use that brain of yours to justify your actions. I can't help with that. But to divert your masters attention tell him that you have been working in ministry day and night to find a way to free his most loyal from Azakaban. Here is plan on how can you achieve it. I believe your Lord knows a way to deal with Dementors."
Lucius looked through plan: "Thank you Hadrian"
Hadrian stood up from chair and walked towards door.
Before closing he sighed: "Lucius don't participate on final day of war"
Then he closed door and left. Lucius is wise man and knew exactly what Hadrian had warned.

Hadrian reached Black Manor where currently Hermione and Bellatrix is residing.
Hadrian:"Hello Hermione"
Hermione bowed: "Hadrian"
Bellatrix: "Hello son. What a wonderful surprise"
Hadrian: "Bellatrix time has come, your Lord is free. You have to make your decision. You can stay at French Manor in hiding away from war or I have to swap you in place of your dummy, in that case I have to mess up with your mind to remove memory of us and make it fragile like Azakaban prisoner."
Bellatrix nodded. She was ready for this day from long time. She cannot betray her master. Her master is above everything. She can't lose her master faith by letting him find out that she was having free life.
Hermione cried knowing perfectly what will happen next and hugged her: "Mother please."
Bellatrix: "Its ok my girl. Stay strong. On the bright side, Hadrian can give your Dad also choice. I don't love him but he deserves to know that you are alive and he should have choice like I have now. Write a letter to your father, I can help you with some wordings as I know him. Hadrian pass the letter to him. He will make his decision when time comes."
Hadrian nodded. Hermione with heavy heart wrote letter with Bellatrix's help.
Ones letter completed, Hermione:"Do you think he will choose me over DarkLord?"
Bellatrix:"I don't know where his loyalty lies, but I know neither he nor your uncle will sell you out to Dark Lord just like me. Hadrian, do what you must have to. When my Lord will check my minds, he shouldn't be able to find out any suspicious thing from me. Make me forget everything"
Hadrian: "You know if I do that, you will lose your control and you will become what you used to be"
Bellatrix gave sad smile: "I understand I told you many times I have willing pledged my loyalty to my lord. I can't betray him. All of us have our path already chosen. Just know this I am proud of both of you and I don't regret anything. My girl, I know you do not like my decision but you will understand my decision one day. Stay besides your brother. Stay loyal to him only. You two stay together. Stay safe"
Then she locked her eyes with Hadrian to allow him messing up with her mind. She cried loud due to all mental pain and finally fainted. Hadrian sadly looked at the body of mother like mentor and towards her crying sister. Once Hermione calmed a bit, he took Bellatrix's hand and vanished in shadows.

He put Bellatrix in her cell and vanished dummy muggle. He then changed his form to look like guard and went to Lestrange brothers cell.
Hadrian:"Lestrange this is letter I am supposed to deliver to you. Don't say a word to anyone about it. It will be be destroyed at the end of day."
Then he vanished.

Lestrange brothers were confused thinking their parents is dead and there is no one out there who want anything from them except Dark Lord. Hesitantly Rabastan opened letter thinking what harm it can do.

"Dear Father,

Last summer I found out about my identity. Imagine my shock when I found out that I am not muggle born but pure blood witch. I was raised in muggle world, though I am known as smartest witch in my year. I changed my name in Hogwartz from start of 2nd year. I gave 2nd and 5th year OWL along with my two friends and passed. So I will be in 6th year this year at the age of 13. I will try to look into your file and see if I can set you, mother and uncle free from Azakaban. I am not allowed to write you so I have to use friend's friend who is guard there to send you this letter. I know you might not like this but I am sorted in Gryffindor. Things were very difficult in start but thanks to some friends and support of current Slytherin King it settled down.

During this summer, I talked with Mrs. Malfoy about mother and found out you both didn't love each other. So I met current Black Lord regarding it. He found a loophole in contract and annul marriage. Now you and mother both are free individual. Lord Black also took all my financial responsibility and given me accesses to mother's vault which he filled with hefty amount of gold so don't worry. I love you both and would like to know you when things get settle down. I don't want to be in Dark Lord's army so please doesn't let him know that you know about me. I know he is back so he will try to break all Death eaters from Azakaban. I can't tell you much but in final battle Dark Lord will lose, so I can only request you and uncle to not participate on final day of War to avoid same fate you are facing after first war. And it's not Dumbledore who will defeat him. I have chosen my path father, I follow the one who showed me power and my true identity. I don't want to fight against you but if it comes to that I won't hesitate. I have killed muggles who raised me, I am quite capable to kill. After all some of mother's insane gene is also there. Give my regards to uncle.

I know it's hard to believe what I am saying and also there is no way I can prove my identity or all the things I said. It's truly me father alive and breathing. Dark Lord will check your memories to know things. I am sure you and uncle will conceal details of this memory in a way that Dark Lord can't access. I had send letter to mother few days ago and got reply that Dark Lord will never find out anything from her head regarding me.

Both Rodolph and Rabastan has tears in eyes knowing the baby girl they only held ones is still alive, they re read letter again and again. This gave them hope they want to live if only it is to see how their baby girl look like only ones. Once letter got destroyed they locked this memory very dark corner of their mind where Dark Lord can't access.  

After some days as expected Lucius played his part and break of Azakaban was all over in news. Sirius black also escaped with Death eaters.
