Master of Death

Chapter 34

Death: "Your chosen four will be your horsemen. You have read about event of Apocalypse, right?"
Hadrian nodded
Death: "Well that's my story when I was master of Death. I became Death when I accepted my death, story of they killed me is wrong. They made my name sound evil through fantasy book story of mass destruction. I accept I did it but there were reasons behind what I did which no one knows. Like me, this will be your story and you will have your four Horsemen. Ones you decide that you have lived enough, you summon me to release you from your humanity. That day I will be released from my duties and you will become Death. Since you destroyed my hollows you also need to find a way to test and pass on your legacy in a way that one day someone else comes to claim master of you at right time and let you pass on."
Death released his memories of event, his decisions and reasoning for Hadrian to understand things. Hadrian took his time to understand things and when he got it he nodded. 
Death: "As being master of death you should not produce heir as it will be way too destructive, I learned it hard way as you have seen. So you cannot have sex with any woman. If you produce offspring it will be way more destructive than mine as you have more powers and players than I had in my time. However, I do understand that you have to be sexually active to relieve stress and satiate your powers. So you can indulge in sexual activity with man which I don't think will be problem as you have good experience in third life."
Hadrian: "What if man is fertile or carrier?"
Death: "Indeed smart question; your mark will destroy fertility of man. So it won't be issue. But in case of woman it will act exact opposite, so even if it's just one time, she will get pregnant."
Hadrian: "What mark?"
Death: "There will be three marks. First mark is mark of Possession. Whoever person you sex with (whether it's willing or unwilling), he will become yours after first sex. His mind and body will make him yours as your Powers will claim him after you penetrate him first time no matter how powerful he is or his will is. However, it's not checked on someone with blood not earthly as neither me nor any death before me had any occurrence with outer space species which will be one of your unique challenge. Use sex as tool to get any man on your side and make him yours.  You have 8 Lordship in this birth, so as per law you have to have 8 consorts. But eight won't be enough for your sexual appetite and believe me I know what I am saying, so apart from them you can have as many as you want or need time to time as part of male Harem. They will never feel any sexual attraction towards anyone else except you ones you claim them. You can always read them like open book and you can manipulate their mind without much efforts. "
Hadrian nodded so Death continued: " The second mark is called mark of Loyalty that is designed for Ravens. You will require seven virgins group which will be called ravens. This group has to perform ritual every year which makes Atlantis invincible from almost everything. It's utmost important to continue this legacy started by first Death Master himself for protection of Kingdom. The mark will give ravens ability to take any female human or animal form they wish along with their enhanced magical core. They will remain young, elegant and beautiful with sharp features. They will get knowledge of different muggle weaponry since they mostly act as security layer of Atlantis. Magic along with latest technology knowledge is important for safety.  The mark will help to control their sexual desires but in case if they lose their purity (mean if they do sex), they will die at instance and you have to find new raven to fulfill the position. To get mark of Loyalty and be raven, a girl has to jump (willing/unwilling) in veil of Death. "
Hadrian: "And third mark"
Death: "Mark of Atlantis. You will be required to perform many task and you will need certain people or experts to help you with that. Now unlike other two mark holders, this mark has to be taken willingly. Forced or unwilling participation won't work. There is veil of Atlantis just like veil of death. A person has to jump in it, if he/she is loyal toward his work and Kingdom than only he/she will come out alive from it. They can talk with any soul they wish to for enhancing their knowledge or skill."

As Hadrian nodded Death: "All three marks will stop bearers from aging  and in some case even making them bit young or old then their current age when they get mark as per your wish. They will be immune to most disease and they won't die under normal circumstances as they are blessed by Death master. You can release mark if they desire to die or you don't want them anymore or you find better replacement. They can also die in some rare or unique circumstances like you did in your past 3 lives. There powers and skills will increase many fold as they achieve powers of all there ancestors and mature level of their own powers. All these marked people will become citizen of Atlantis. You can grant any power you wish to any chosen person from citizen of Atlantis. These three marks bind their holder by blood to not to reveal information in direct or indirect way about master of death, location of Atlantis and about other citizens/ informers of Atlantis. All three marks will change certain memories and feelings of bearer at the time when they get mark of their previous choices or life to make them suitable for Death Master. Their life, body and soul belongs to you only."
Hadrian: "What about my four horseman?"
Death with stoic look: "what about them"
Hadrian: "I mean what mark will they have?"
Death: "Oh none. They are above this marks, Their ranks is below you and above mark bearers. They like you are task master or your middleman I should say. Unlike mark bearers who has specific task, they will participate and get involve in everything. There powers and their familiars powers come from you. You are direct source of their energy. They won't have any wish or emotions apart from your loyalty , safety and orders. They will have no other mortal desires (sexual or otherwise). They will die when you die. They can not die before or after that. Their destruction is impossible without destroying you. Like them your powers also get boost from their souls. You five are interlinked in more than one way."
Hadrian nodded and asked: "Is there any way to mark someone without making them Atlantis citizen or giving them magical boost?"
Death: "Yes there is. It's called Mark of Soul. It's different from other three. You will require many people as informers for different tasks. These people won't get citizenship in Atlanta or any special powers or power boosters or any knowledge about you/ your kingdom. The mark bearers are called informer of Atlantis. It can be given to any man or woman or child or animal. The mark itself will work as your spy/informer on their body. So any information you want from mark bearer, the mark will keep passing it to your assigned information collector from time to time. All four marks are only visible to citizen of Atlantis, so bearer of Mark of Soul can not see or notice even their own mark. You or your horsemen can give this mark but it can be given with their consent"
Hadrian with raised eyebrow: "Who will happily give consent for such thing?"
Death with evil grin: "Oh you can force them to agree or you can change your words or asking, all they have to do is give affirmative answer (e.g. I do / Yes / any positive word) when you cast spell. You five can do so wandless wordless to make it impossible for anyone to notice and I never said you have to mention about mark or anything."
Hadrian nodded with mischievous smile.
Death: "I think I have explained most things still go through this book of master of death to know things in detail about certain laws, my experience, experience of previous masters, our suggestions, our mistakes, our powers (all of which you will inherit as Master and True heir) and laws of Atlantis.  Your powers of Eidetic memory and mind magic are unlocked with all other powers of previous births, so book won't take much time. Being my master you will have knowledge and powers of Necromancer and Alchemist apart from all your own powers. Get ready to claim your throne while I go back to earth to start preparing for ritual to make you breath again. Do remember job of Master of Death is to maintain balance and stop complete destruction of earth. If there will be no life than there won't be no death."
Hadrian nodded in understanding and Death vanished. Hadrian started reading book.
