Chapter 17

After few calm days, there was Chaos as students started petrifying and someone killed Mrs. Norris (Cat) with written in blood that chamber has been opened. People started gossiping it was Hadrian, but Hadrian walked through as I don't give a shit attitude. Hadrian asked his generals to keep an eye on everyone and inform him if anything unusual in meeting today evening. Hadrian asked Amara about it. She said she knows there is one very old Basilisk locked in bottom of Hogwarts but she kept hissing blood and hungry which means she hasn't eaten anything in ages. She never checked location in fear of getting eaten by it. She asked Hadrian do he want her to go down there to check but Hadrian firmly said not without him accompanying her. Dumbledore as always in his puzzle way told Hadrian about Mertle girl in girl's bathroom who dies first time Chamber has opened. Amara went in Bathroom and informed hissing is strong their so door must be there only.

Hadrian went to girl's bathroom with Amara. He noticed snakes symbol. He sends amara to call Neville with message. Up on seeing Hadrian's familiar Neville understood he is being summoned. The note says: "Neville I have found chamber of secret, fetch DADA professor to girls bathroom on 7th floor. Don't inform anyone else about it." 
Hadrian was waiting in tunnel when he heard Neville came with Prof. Hadrian cast magic locking both ends of tunnel so no one can hear or see them.
Hadrian: "Neville you have proved your loyalty to me. Time has come for you to achieve more darkness and make you strong enough to take down your uncle."
Lockhart: "Hadrian what's going on"
Hadrian ignored him: "There is only one thing for you to do. You know what Hermione did."
Neville nodded. He knew he has to kill someone at some point of time to completely embrace dark. He had thought about it when Hermione told her what she did and how it set her free. It's final step. At least he doesn't have to kill someone close to him like Hermione.
Neville pointed his wand on confused Lockhart: "Professor ready to duel till death, the tunnels are locked you can't run away"
Lockhart was a jock, Neville finished him off within minute. After Killing him Neville started shaking violently. Hadrian burned Professors body.
Hadrian: "It's ok. Let your tears flow. Embrace it."
Neville sat on his knees and cried hard. He fainted in exhaustion.

Hadrian cast shield on him and went ahead in Chamber. He saw Ginny Weasley slowly dying near Black leather Diary. There was a boy 15/16 yr old standing next to her body.
Boy: "Hello I am Tom Marvello Riddle. I was waiting for you to show up"
Hadrian: "What did you do to the girl? Leave her alone. what you want"
Boy: "Nothing as of now, but she will die soon and I will arise from her death."
Hadrian laughed: "And you think I will let you do it"
Boy: "What can a mere 12 year old do to me? You know who I am"
Then the word in air showed rearranging from TMR to LV.
Hadrian: "I see you didn't learn you lesson when I burned your soul last year with Quirell"
Boy with wide eyes hissed in anger: "You did what.. Great Slytherin Serpant I call you."
Basilisk appeared.
Hadrian Laughed maniacally: "This is the best you got.. Seriously"
Tom roared with frustration: "How? Why are you not afraid? And why you haven't been petrified by looking in his eyes. ... kill the boy my basilisk"
Hadrian released his magic. Basilisk blasted from inside before it can move towards Hadrian. Now Fear was visible in tom's eye. When Hadrian started walking towards Diary.
Tom sit on his one knee as sign of submission: "Please don't kill me, I want to live Slytherin King"
Hadrian with smug face: "Oh what happened to your big fat ego. Your words were different before and after everything why should I let you"
Tom on his one knee: "I have never bowed to anyone willingly and I am doing it now because I know I am no match for you. Consider my previously spoken words as my first and last mistake. I have heard from Ginny about you but seeing you blow Basilisk wandless is something even I can't do or think of anyone who can do. I have knowledge and which can aid your powers."
Hadrian: "How you look different than first time I saw you? And I want full explanation"
Tom: "This Diary is first horcrux I created during my Hogwarts years, Hence I look like what I used to be at that time. I am memory who got physical  form by feeding from this girls power and soul. Since she was mostly broken it wasn't hard to control her" 
Hadrian nodded: "I see you really want me to consider your proposal but I can't let girl die for you."
Tom: "I am returning whatever I took from her. I will stay inside Diary until you feed me your power to come out, but don't destroy me. I promise I won't suck any other students' magic or soul."
Hadrian:"hmm.. I will consider your proposal. I may want to discuss few more things about information you revealed when time comes. For now go back to Diary"
Tom disappeared inside diary. He put diary inside his clock , transfigure a stone into burned diary and then levitated both Neville and Ginny to infirmary.

Many students and professors ran to infirmary when they heard two students are injured and Hadrian brought them out of Secret chambers. Albus asked everyone to move out of infirmary. When he was alone with Hadrian he asked Hadrian what happened.
Hadrian: "He and Neville have seen Ginny going inside Chamber with book. There was this weird diary in her hand which were covered with blood. I told Neville to call adult as I followed Ginny. She looked possessed as there was no reaction from her at all. Proffessor Lockhart was on stairs so Neville fetched him. As we went inside, the diary started glowing and a boy came out saying 'he is Tom Riddle'. Ginny was unconscious lying on floor. At that moment Proffesor started throwing hexes on the boy. I was trying to wake ginny up. The hex didn't touch boy like he was ghost. However, Neville got hit by few hexes and fainted. Then the boy mocked professor saying: 'You stupid joker you can't hex memory'. Then he called basilik. Professor told me to burn the diary. I did the boy started burning. But the basilisk swallowed professor. Suddenly Basilisk exploded. I don't know any more or how."
Hadrian felt Albus is having doubts on his story and he will grill him so he used weapon that most child can effectively use against adults. He started crying and fainted (fake tears and acting ofcours) and Poppy came to his rescue.
Poppy: "Albus that's enough for now. These three children have gone through trauma. They need medical attention. You can ask thing later. For now leave."
As Albus left, Hadrian slept next to Neville. Next day when Neville woke up, Hadrian said him what he has said to everyone and order him to Stick to same story. Neville nodded. Once Madam Pomfrey checked them she allowed them to leave.

After few days Ginny got well. She heard what happen from others. Ginny asked Draco if she can talk with Hadrian for few minutes in private. This is first time when she asked general to pass message instead of approaching him directly. Hadrian agreed for meeting since Ginny actually for ones started taking rules seriously.
During meeting, Ginny cried: "I know you hate me and your time is very important. But you saved me and I wanted to say thank you."
Hadrian sighed and in soft voice: "I don't hate you Ginny"
Ginny: "But you never talked to me"
Hadrian in usual cold voice: "Because you didn't follow rules I sat. Moreover you worship me and keep irritating me with your love sick tactics."
Ginny with fear: "I am sorry. I shouldn't have. But why you save me? After all I was almost hexed everyday what good is there for me in staying alive."
Hadrian with narrowed eyes: "Being targeted is your own fault. You are strong Ginerva. You are still fighting after going through Hell. Why Slytherin hate you because you treat them as enemy. You should accept your Slytherin side. If you accept yourself then only people will accept you. For Gryffindor it's your brothers Ron and Percy who is creating problems for you. Stop making yourself what others want."
Ginny whispered: "I want to but my family, they won't accept me"
Hadrian: "That's their loss. Now get yourself together. Slytherins don't show their emotions to others. I welcome you to snake's pit my little hatchling. For this summer I want you to get some help with mind healer since we and Tom has caused too much damage. Don't worry about Money. I will take care of it. But no more hero worshiping. Okay?"
Ginny smiled: "ok and Thank you King for everything. Will you allow me to join your group?"
Hadrian:"You have to prove your worth to my warriors. If they will find you worthy then I will allow you "
Ginny nodded, bowed and left.
