"Did you hear how Gina speaks to her?" Ricky rants to Red.
Ricky's dad had agreed to let Red come over for a bit as long as they appear to be studying.
"You're so caught up on Nini, it's kind of amusing," Red tries not to laugh.
"This isn't funny, Red, I'm actually worried." Ricky flops back onto his bed.
"Okay, okay." Red tries to drop his smile.
"Gina is so... mean." Ricky huffs.
"That I agree with." Red holds up a finger.
"You are not helping." Ricky groans.
"Hey, if you want to actually get anywhere with this, you need to start befriending the girl herself."
"Gina?" Ricky asks, confused.
"No, idiot." Red throws an abandoned sock at his friend. "Nini."
"Oh," Ricky relies dumbly. "How would I do that?"
"Same way you befriended me," Red suggests.
"We talked once and you wouldn't leave me alone. I have a feeling becoming friends with her won't be so easy."
"Just ask her if she wants to hang out with you sometime." Red shrugs.
Ricky ponders this for a moment.
"Yeah, okay. I'll do it."
Red smiles widely, though Ricky can't see his face.
