Preparations

Andy's Pov

"Is everything set? Tomorrow we will check the catering services for Monday" saad ni Kuya Adrian. Sabi kona. This is one of the reasons bakit pinadala dito si Kuya Adrian.

"I thought it's a small celebration?" I asked him. He shrugged his shoulders.

"I want you to act surprised pagdating ng parents mo-"

"What?! Dadating sila?" I unbelievably asked him.

"Yep. I know you don't like surprises kaya sinabi ko na sa'yo. Magpapatulong ako kay Chimmy para asikasuhin ang birthday celebration mo"

Nangunot ang nuo ko kay Kuya Adrian.

"Yung totoo?" I asked. Natigilan sya while checking places. It's supposed to be here in the house pero mapilit si Kuya Adrian.

"Yung totoo what?"

"Com'on Kuya Adrian I wasn't born yesterday. I know my parents is up to something" saad ko habang inaabot yung brochure.

"Wala silang sinabi-"

"Wala talaga?"

"Nothing. I was just told to come here earlier to take care of your birthday celebration while hindi pako nagsisimulang magwork"

"Sa dami ng pwedeng ipadala yung medyo tanga pa" bulong ko. Ano namang alam ni Kuya Adtian sa preparations? And why is it mas mukhang pinaghahandaan tong nineteenth birthday ko kesa nung eighteen ako?

"And uunahan na kita. May mga institutions at groups na pupunta sa monday. Even Mr. Lurzeo Lee-Anderson will come"

Napailing nalang ako.

"What's happening?" Tanong ni Rhie pagbaba nya. I shrugged my shoulders.

"I don't know either. But I swear kinakabahan ako" I whispered. Nabitawan ko yung brochure na hawak ko at napatayo nung may mga ipinasok silang gown.

"What's that?"

"Susuotin nyo sa Monday? Si Tita Sarah ang nagpadala nyan. Gawa yan ng isang renowned designer from Italy" saad ni Kuya Adrian. Napaface palm nalang ako.

"Perfectly fit at dedicated sa inyong laha-"

"You mean lahat? As in lahat kami?" Tanong ni Tammy na kakalabas lang ng kitchen.

"Yes. Tita Andrea included Shamey. Kaya galing akong Canada to formally give the invitation. Nauna akong umuwi sa Canada kesa kay Shame"

"Ibig sabihin uuwi talaga si Ate?!" Tanong ni Rhie.

"Com'on Kuya Adrian tell us"

"When I asked her she wasn't sure. Ayokong paasahin kayong dadating sya. But it would be better if she does" sagot nya. Napabagsak nalang ako ng upuan ulit.

Napalingon ako sa phone ko. I immediately grabbed it at lumabas. I answered the phone call.

"Yes?"
