Rae and i stood infront of the school. You know those kind of movies where by the "special 5 teens" stand forward looking ahead just for effect. Yea...Rae and i probably don't look like that but we are close.

People turned their head giving us disapproving looks before going back to their gossiping.

Rae and i slowly stood steps to the school building but suddenly gasp and squeals were heard.

As usual i turned round to see a black SUV stopping behind us. A guy with black suit came out and open the car door.

"ASHLEYYYYY!!!"

my eyes widen as i watch Chris jump out and run towards me. I wasnt the only one though. Even Rae was surprised. Chris kept running with his arms wide. He was getting closer but was still in full speed.

"Chris..." I said taking a step back but his grin only got wider.

"Chris.." taking more than 5 steps back but nope he was still coming.

I didn't even try to call his name before breaking into a backward sprint.

Again badluck met me as he jumped on me pushing us both to the ground. I let out a groan from the contact between the ground, my bandaged ribs and the weight of Chris.

"Get off her you dog!" Sage yelled coming out of the car and running towards us.

She pulled Chris off me and gave him a smack on the head.

"Owww....what was that for?"

"You idotic moron! Why did you junp on her?" Sage asked with her hands crossed on her chest

"Well she wasn't around for a week and i missed her"

Rae helped me off my feet while i was still processing this dude.

He barely knows me for 2 days and his misses me. Common! Is there some hidden cameras here....maybe its a prank show...yea thats it...

How can someone miss me? Everyone in the parking lot was silent watching the interaction. Some had started to video the scene playing out.

Chris eyes immediately went to Rae who was awkwardly standing beside me. A cocky grin made it to his face.

"Ohhh..who is she? She's pretty" Chris said already walking to her

Ohhh everyone heard that... Rae eyes shot up in surprise. Even with her caramel skin you could see the the pink tint in her cheeks.

Chris bowed his head and pretend to be removing a top hat.

"Hello fair lady...I am Lord chris. May i have the pleasure of knowing the name of an elegant queen like you"

Rae let out a small chuckle before smiling.

"Rae"

"Sage Sage Sage!!!" Chris yelled.

"What!"

"Her name is Rae..She told me her name" Chris said bouncing up around Rae. Sage rolled her eyes before going back to her phone. She gave Rae a small salute.

People were watching the show carefully. I could feel the jealous glares of some girls on Rae and i think she felt it to because she started fiddling with her hair.

I think Chris noticed because a small frown morphed on his face before he placed an arm around Rae shoulder and started leading us to the school building.

Smart guy...

The warning bell rang and immediately people started to head to their class not before giving a second glance at us.

I followed behind Chris and Rae who were slowly discussing while Sage piped in when Chris would say something stupid.

I dont understand why Sage and Chris had come towards me. I really didnt get it. Ughh...this people are confusing me.

I hadnt even notice that Sage Chris and Rae had gone far ahead of me.

Sighing i continue down the hallway for my locker. I was immediately slammed into the row of lockers and i gasped when i met green eyes.

Xander...

I totally forgot that he was with Sage and Chris. He had his two arms caging me. His face was so close.

"Hey.." i squeaked out. I probably sounded like a dying rat.

He stared at me for a second almost like he was studying my face.

"So...what's up with the disappearing act? Hope you didn't chicken out of the deal?"

Well...i did want to cut the deal.

"Well...i wasn't feeling to well... err...t..thats why i didnt come to school" i did not understand why i was explaining myself to him.

His face got nearer and i could feel his breath.

"Hmm...you aren't lieing are you?"

"Nope" i squeaked out again

He tilted his head to the side and i see something like relief pass through his face. Wait was he worried about me when i was gone?

"Hmm..okay then. So your still with the deal"

I bit my lip unsure about that. I see his gaze go directly there and his eyes darken

His eyes come back to mine and something swirled in his eyes.

"Emm..Xander maybe we could cancel the deal"

A sly smirk appeared on his face.

"I knew you were a chicken"

His words pierced me and for the first time in one year i felt the urge to stand up for myself. Determination pumped through my veins.

"You know what! Am still in"I said staring straight into his eyes.

He gave me a full blown smile before coming so near that our chest were touching. My heart was pumping faster than ever. His head was by my neck and i heard him whisper into my ear.

"Good because i would love to have you under me" and he was gone down the hallway. Leaving me flushed all over.

My face was as red as a tomato.

The bell rang and i sighed. Thanks Xander. Now am late. I grabbed my things before sprinting down the hallways.

I didn't notice Kylie standing by the sidelines who watched everything.
