CHAPTER 17

ZACHARRY

I like it here. Falini's relatives are so welcoming. They are so fun to be with. I didn't feel like im not belong. They will talk to me from time to time. They will ask if im fine or what do i want to have.

I also remembered how her cousins approached me. I cant help but to laugh because of how jolly they are. But I cant deny it. Their beauty are exceptional. I guess it runs in their blood.

After that scene, they cant look or even smile at me. They'll always look away maybe because of embarrassment. They are so adorable. I'll just chuckle and shrug it off.

The boodle fight earlier was the best! I never thought I'd experience that one. We have to eat with bear hands and foods was placed in a banana leaves. There's no plate, spoon nor fork.

It never came to my mind eating that way. But I never thought that boodle fight will be that fun. And it was all worth it. The foods was awesome! specially that itlog na pula with kamatis. Oh i love that.

And now im sitting here in front of her uncles. They've got dozens of jokes and stories to tell. I cant help but to laugh on how they tell those in their own way. They seem so cheerful.

Ang ganda ng samahan nila. Their gang has a name. I remember it because they gave me a shirt same as theirs. Where the gang's name is printed in it.

They said they are giving it to a male new members of the family clan. When you are wearing one. Then the people in the whole community would know that you are part of the Albay family.

And i like it. I really want to be part of this wonderful family. Ang sarap nila kasama. Hindi ko maramdamang iba ako sakanila. They welcomed me like Im really part of the family.

They are the Team Kalputan. At first, I find the name ridiculous. But when I learned the meaning of it, I'll just chuckle because it's really witty. Kalputan means Kapatirang Alak at Puluntan.

After years of hating the world. I now came to enjoy it. Their hospitality is making me feel comfortable. To the point na kusang lumalabas ang natural kong ugali. Ngayon nalang ulit ako nakisalamuha ng ganito sa ibang tao. Falini's family is really the best.

"So here's a new member of our family!" I remember this is jessy, he was sitting beside me. He tapped my back and i just smiled at him.

"Mahihirapan yata ako insan. Mauubos ang english ko dito." Biro ng isa sakanila.

Natawa naman ako. " No its fine. Naiintindihan ko kayo."

Napatingin sila sa isat isa at tumingin saakin. Natawa sila na para bang naka hinga ng maluwag.

"Eh kung ganon pala eh marami kaming itatanong sayo!" Nakangiting baling saakin ng isa sakanila. Sinang ayunan naman ng iba.

I couldn't help but to feel nervous. I have to get on their sides. It's falini's family by the way.

"Nag away na ba kayo ng pamangkin namin?"

Napasulyap naman sila sa tumatawang si falini. I shift the way i sit to have an access to stare at my beautiful falini.

"Alam mo iyang pamangkin namin na yan. Maagang namulat sa hirap iyan!"

"Bata palang yan ay marami nang pinagdaanan yan dahil nangibang bansa iyong nanay nya."

I listened to them but i don't know who's talking because i was also busy staring at my falini. Napatingin ako sa mga kaharap ko. They are also smiling while staring at falini.

"Napaka bait ng batang yan. Matalino, naalala ko noong nag aaral pa iyan ay laging umuuwing may medal sa kamay."

"Lagi ring sinasali sa school pageants yan dahil talagang maganda at matalino."
