CHAPTER 18

FALINI

We are now in the plaza here in our barangay. Since my father is the captain, he let us use this for the new year count down later. Its 8pm in the evening. My whole clan is here, complete and well prepared.

The plaza is decorated with red balloons. The tables cloth are color black, so as the chairs. There's a space in the middle of the plaza for laters parlor games and for dancing.

The foods we prepared are placed on the left side of the plaza together with the containers of juices and different kinds of liquors.

On the right side were the tables and chairs are placed. Its for laters inuman session and also for a place to eat.

On the front there's a long white designers chair where you can take a picture. There's a background with combination of red and black balloons and flowers in it. It is designed perfectly and elegantly.

Nag picture na din kami ni zach doon kanina. Kasama ang magulang ko. Ang mga tita and tito pati ang mga pinsan ko. At shempre solo namin.

While on the back, the sounds system was placed. Malalaking speaker ang nakapatong doon at pag nag play ang music ay rinig buong baranggay. Its my tito eddie's.

"Are you okay?" I asked zach who's sitting beside me.

He nodded and smiled at me. He's wearing a button down red polo dress. The other side was tucked on his black trousers. And he is wearing a white gucci shoes. And I swear, he looks so dashing and really expensive with his outfit.

While me, im wearing a red long sleeves which is hugging my body just right. It's a scoopback long sleeve that reveals my sexy back. I partnered it with black trousers and a white gucci shoes which was given by yours truly, Zacharry Dean Jhonson.

We're in a matchy-matchy outfit. He wanted it this way so i just followed his bidding. I like it anyways.

"Yeah im fine." He answered while looking at the place and listening to the loud music. "I really like how your family bonds. I mean, this celebration was pretty simple but it's memorable."

"Yeah. Ganito kami lagi at bawal ang kj kaya sasali tayo sa games mamaya okay?" Gulat naman syang napatingin saakin.

"Why? Ayaw mo? Osige iba nalang partner ko—"

"Hell no!" Tutol nya bago ako halikan sa pisngi. "Ako ang partner mo. At ako lang ang pwedeng maging partner mo."

Natawa naman ako sa reaction nya. "Eh diba ayaw mo nga? Edi iba nalang—"

"No! Sasali tayo sa lahat ng games nayan basta ako lang. Ako lang ang partner mo!" Histerya nyang sabi.

"Psh! Seloso!" I teased and laughed hard.

Bumaba ang kamay nya sa bewang ko at pinisil yon bago ako hilain palapit sakanya. "Yeah, and you wouldn't like me when im jealous."

Nangiti naman ako at hinalikan sya sa baba. "Opo. And i wont do anything that would make you jealous. Promise." Taas ko sa kanang kamay. "Mamatay man si teodoro."

Natawa naman ako ng may humampas sa braso ko. "Hoy ate! Narinig ko yon ha! Ang sama mo sa kagandahan ko!" Reklamo ni teodoro.

Bigla naman sumulpot si alleona. "Kuya zach! mag selos ka na dali! Nang mawala na to!" Sabunot nito kay TJ.

Hindi na awkward dahil pinag usap-usap ko na sila. Nagka linawan na. Zach is cool with it. Ang mga pinsan ko lang talaga ang nahihiya. Pero nakakapag usap at asaran narin sila ngayon. For a fact, super close narin nila ito at nagpapahanap na sila ng gwapo dito.
