It was an average Saturday morning spent at the gym.
With barely anyone around, and The Killers boosted through the stereos of the weight room, Eli worked himself out whilst waiting for his roommate Alex to finally join after being hit on by an older woman upon the treadmill.
All he could do right now was pray that this wasn't another housewife he'd end up bringing back to their place. Though, Eli wasn't sure just which disturbed him more:
The fact that in the first two weeks since they moved in together, Alex Young has had a rotating door of slender 40-somethings wandering in and out of their apartment almost every night.
Or the mere acknowledgement that, for the first time, he had a roommate.
Both things were baffling to him, however. And just as he could ponder more while crunching his abs with a 45lbs dumbbell in his hands, it wasn't long before he had heard a chiming sound going on from his phone.
He paused himself from anymore working out, looked to his phone, and grinned some at Greta's name popping on his phone. She'd sent a selfie of her in a floral dress, eating what looked to be sushi at some restaurant up the street.
Smiling to himself as he thought of texting some raunchy, yet romantic, he became unaware of his wavy black haired roommate strutting into the weight room and taking a secretive peak at the picture on Eli's phone.
"Oh, lemme guess, this some kind of Tinder date tonight?" He teased. "Wait till Jane or Diego hears about this."
A quick roll of his eyes followed with the even quicker press of a button as he turned the phone screen to black and stood from his bench. "I wish you would tell 'em some shit." He threatened. "Like I need any of them to get on my ass about it while I'm at work."
